The Penticton Speedway is not a problem for the NSX - done it many times. The road up is paved and the parking lot is not. But it's fairly level and my lowered car has never had an issue. Avoid long-grasses and hot cats just in case. The oval racing is fun. It's not a Hit-To-Pass night but it's decent racing up close in any case.

Re staying at Knox Mtn: A reserved spot is great, but the event can get a bit tedious if you're there all day, especially if it's hot. It sounds like there will be enough of us to maybe have an NSX presence all day, with some cars coming and some going as people's chosen itinerary dictates. Personally about 3 hours of Knox Mtn is about all I can take at one time, but I wouldn't miss it either.
Personally I will be at the Blossom Run in Summerland on Saturday morning after breakfast. If you are/ever were/wanna be a hot rodder/customizer it is something to see and not far off. It's not a large event and you can park really close.
World of Wheels at Peachland is also choice and a much larger event. $12 to park seems a bit nasty, but perhaps worth it. Do we need to arrive as a group as well as leave as one? It sounds as though if we're in the event that we can't leave until 3:00 pm. That might not suit everyone. There are lots of cars to see but some might want to get back to Knox Mtn before 3:00 pm. Depending on the time you arrive, you don't usually have to walk 5 miles.
Also: Take Heed: The RCMP in Peachland are always out in force at the event looking for missing licence plates, inappropriate lighting, seatbelts and the like. They WILL stop you.
For all you out-of-towners, the main roads in and around the entire Okanagan are big RCMP ticket territory. Back off when anywhere near town, any town and any highway within donut range of town. There are lots of less-well travelled roads to explore, but the main routes are NOT among them.
Also, for anyone coming through Banff, Golden, Revelstoke, Salmon Arm be aware. That stretch of the Trans-Canada is also big radar territory and regularly enforced.
My Itinerary

I am planning on a wine tour on Saturday, I planned to do the Peachland world of wheels of Sunday. The reason being is I spoke to the organizer of the world of wheels and he will set aside parking spaces IN TOWN for us because if you aren't in the event you are parked 5 miles outside of town due to the large # of vehicles in the city that is closed off to those who don't have a spot reserved. He is willing to allow us in for $12 per vehicle and we can collectively leave as a group at anytime after 3pm. That might be a good time to head for some go-karting that i have lined up at westside go-karts and then a bbq at some location (porpoise you mentioned a spot). I'm trying to clarify the Penticton speedway location as being doable for our cars. I heard that the road into the speedway isn't the best, so it may rule out any chance of us going there for racing on saturday or sunday. I will have a rough itinerary posted hopefully by tonight. My cell is 250-318-0422 and I will be staying at the Manteo.
