That's kind of disappointing. I submitted my registration right at noon on the 1st too. Oh well.
Why is it that a lot of "mods" are required to attend this show? Isn't having an NSX enough to qualify? Its not like everybody drives one and they are pretty damned exotic in my opinion.
Sorry, just ranting.....
Why would anyone attending this show want to see a stock vehicle? I don't agree with you. Sorry.

i dont know if you got my message gabe , my computers acting up. but we are planning on doing a run down to monterey if you would like to join us.
When are you guys driving down here? Let me know. Kris, thanks for the PM.
don't worry about me entering this year. You got enough headaches going on and over booked. I'll catch up with you at the event and get a bite to eat again.
Those of you who don't know Kris, he's the best and will always go out of his way to make things happen. He specifically held 10+ spaces for us.
Show some love for him and the Mach III group.

I think I've met Kris - visited their shop a few times and bought my ARC pieces for my s2000 there a while back. Great guys

Agreed, an nSX is no Lambo or Ferrari ~ stock ones just don't look all that hot to me especially the older cars. Saw one on the highway the other day and can't believe how dated it looks.....(huge fender gap, ugly wheels, ill-fitting rear valence, etc)
Perhaps if you lived in the boonies or countryside it might draw a few looks but certainly not in norcal/socal or other prominent metro areas....
MikeC,
Wanted to let you know; I'm going to ride down as a passenger w/ one of the Sac guys.

Beauty is in they eye of the beholder. I'll bring the soap to wash your mouth out. (kidding).:tongue:
Thanks...
Although this particular event has a preference for NSX's that have been modify, there are shows where stock NSX's will fit in. I have seen NSX's in stock form that have been well taken care of, where it looks brand new and will still turn heads. Don't put down NSX owners that don't modify their NSX's or does not have the means to do a complete make over in one day. I am sure those owners take pride in their NSX just as much as you do.
+1 I'll bring the steel brush...
Mike

Looks like we got 11 cars now due to a bit of whining....someone really wanted to be there....
LOL... Let's not get carried away with the acolades, its not like he's parted the red sea or even walked on water!!!:biggrin::biggrin:
But, if you want to be on his good side, be sure to compliment him on his Nike's and tell him he has the "Best G35" in the Bay Area/the World. After all, he is the G35 God. Some day when he's done playing with his Tonka toy (do not ask Kris how much he invested into his G35), he will buy an NSX and play in the Major Leagues :biggrin::biggrin:
