What is the purpose of that bracket coming from the hood?

Sorry to bump an old thread but this is probably one of my favorite nsxs out there.

My guess from looking at the pics is that the NSX-R GT bumper does not have a tow hook cover on it like the regular NSX bumpers. So they must of compromised and put one up on the hood area instead of cutting up the NSX-R GT bumper.

Just weird to pull the car from there instead of the front bumper.

But I think you are probably right.

I was able to see and sit in the real spoon nsx race car pictured in all these pics!!! It was the inspiration for my build.
