I am getting ready to do my 02 conversion, but I have a some questions. Maybe you re-search can help me.
Chris,

I recommend getting the SOS conversion kit. For the price you get headlights, HID, all the little things you need.

Did you use the headlight mount kit from Dali or SOS?
No, I did not, I had no mounting kits, I only had to buy 2 brackets. The shop that did my conversion custom fabricated the rest.

Did you have to cut the headlight housing frame for the headlight to seat correctly?
Yes, I believe so. However if I pop my hood and compare it to a stock 02+ nsx I honestly can not tell the difference.

And last request, could you please give me a list of all the part numbers for the conversion. (OEM)
I will make it easy, these are items you absolutely have to have besides, bumper, hood, headlights, HID, front lip.

Headlight items:
33123-SL0-A01 BRACKET, R (1)
33124-SL0-A01 BRACKET, L (1)
33126-SL0-A01 COVER, RUBBER (2 required)
33145-SL0-A01 GASKET, SEAL (2 required))
33127-SL0-A01 COVER (2 required)

Front bumper items:
71170-SL0-020 ABSORBER, FR. BUMPER
71107-SL0-010ZB COVER, FR. TRACKING HOOK
71106-SL0-000ZZ CAP, R. FR. BUMPER
71126-SL0-000ZZ CAP, L. FR. BUMPER
71163-SL0-010 SEAL, R. FR. HEADLIGHT
71168-SL0-010 SEAL, L. FR. HEADLIGHT

OPTIONAL ITEMS:
71152-SL0-020 SEAL, FR. BUMPER PLATE CENTER
74148-SL0-010 RUBBER, FR. HOOD SEAL
74198-SL0-010 RUBBER, L. HOOD SEAL

I probably left out a few items, but that is not big deal. As far as bolts, you can reuse most of the old ones, and the indicator, turn signal sockets can be reused.

I too have been pondering the issue of the 02 conversion and have come to the conclusion that $10k gets the job done right! All OEM parts, perfect matched paint and HID lighting. I debated and debated and have finally come to the conclusion that it was a waste of money for me.

I decided that I really want the targa, 6 speed and the 3.2. I was coming back from NSXPO and was reading a car magazine on the plane and thought long and hard about what to do and I realized the answer is simple and was really obvious.

I want an 02 NSX! Im paying off my car on Wed, researching building another garage in the backyard and keeping my NSX. I always wanted one, and while I see 2 NSX's as somewhat crazy, F' it...you only live once. Imola Orange here we come.

Since you work at Acura dealership, can't you get parts at cost?

Yea but the parts for the 02+ conversion are still expensive. I get my parts at dead cost which is nice but on most of the stuff there isnt much mark up and if you (a regular consumer) call around, you can pay close to that.

Car looks AMAZING. The Downforce rear wing looks sweet! I cant wait to see it all finished, and once again, thank you for posting up the exact seal numbers... I will be using this thread as a refrence thanks to you!

what do u mean "blended on both side"?
u mean the color??

The type r hood is a Procar carbon fiber hood.

No, not the whole car, but by the time sideskirt and rear valence is installed it will be near whole car if you count blending the panels.

The bumper, hood, mirrors are painted, the front fenders are blended on both sides. As much I love type r. I am really not a big fan of off white. I had 3 different off white/pearl white cars prior to the GPW nsx. Quite frankly even if I had to have the Championship white, I would not had done it, due to amount of down time and work involved.

digging up an old post i did a write up in the how to section for all in the future! look up 02 brooklands green conversion. hope it helps
