Unofficial 2010 NSXPO In Vegas Q&A Thread

Wayne Newton....and if you are real lucky Hugh may channel Liberace...

Fvck!! I threw out all of my Wayne Newton albums last week. I still have some Kenny Rodgers albums though. Maybe we can get Kenny as a speaker and then I can get my old album covers autographed by him.

Lol...I was going to say Danny invited Ross from stmpo as guest speaker...but back to reality,,indeed they have been mum on that point..I wonder if they have anyone:confused:

My wife will be coming to Vegas, too, although she isn’t registered for NSXPO because she couldn’t care less about cars and will generally do her own thing. She will want to go on the drives with me in my car, however, and perhaps stand around while the car formation is done.
How much guest participation is allowed?

response to a similar question:

Mike,

If you want to come you still have to register and pay $275 a person plus $40(one time only) if you haven't registered with NSXCA already or renewed it for this year.

This is an event that is not being parted out....whether you want to show up to one day of the event or all of it, you still have to pay the registration.

My understanding is that we are going to be at cars and coffee on saturday and that is an event that anyone can attend....but after that get together its back to being in the NSXCA organized stuff.

I hope you try to make it for the whole event if you can. However there is still fri night, sat night and sun for you to make it out in case if you have to work....so it would be still worth it to come in my opinion because most of the main stuff is towards the weekend...fri, sat, sun.

NSXPO is thurs-sun offcially and theres an optional Monday drive for people staying.

Hope that helps.

My wife is coming with me. Any plans Fri night or Sat night(after banquet) to go to a club or lounge? Otherwise She wanted to make reservations for some shows.

You have to go to the banquet in that outfit...

Friday night at 11:30 pm, Steel Panther is playing at the House of Blues. I am going if anyone wants to join me.

Steel Panther is one of the funniest bands I've ever heard. That's going to be an entertaining show for sure!!! Count me in...

Basically sign in, pick up your badge, memento, shirt, info package (was emailed in advance).

See you soon,

Danny

For those who want to go to Steel Panter go to www.livenation.com and get your tickets there. The House of Blues has another concert that starts at 6:00pm and goes a few hours, then Steel Panter is set for 11:30pm. There are no reserved floor seats or loge seats left. All they have is General Admission floor seats (no chairs, so standing only). Total price with will-call pick-up was USD $31.15. I will probably be heading over around 10:30pm.

I thought I saw somewhere that there was going to be a poker tourney on Friday night but I cant find it on any of the schedules. Did I imagine this?

So my spouse wants to come now... does she need to pay the $40 nsxca fee, or just the $275 nsxpo fee

I was originally +1. No I'm just me. See my post in the attendance thread. Maybe my guest registration can be transferred to you. Bring this to Danny's attention.

I'm planning for a delicious sushi buffet at Sushi Kaya near China town, if anyone wants to join Friday night.

I've eaten sushi all over the country, and Sushi Kaya is right up there as one of my favorites, not to mention cheap at around $23 for all you can eat!

Truly delicious sushi at an amazing price!!!

I was trying to put together an NSXPO specific poker tourney but logistically it was going to be next to impossible without knowing in advance how many people, skill levels and budgets. Also, there weren't enough funds for me to cover the expenses. But there are poker rooms in every casino so we can always form a group and go together.
