Tesla is now too big and successful for Elon’s politically incorrect tweets to have much effect except for some Hollywood celebrities who specialize in virtual signaling ( as they ride around in their private jets ) buying a different car brand.

I'm not sure thats true. It seems to be the reason they have overstock on their lots, dropped prices 20%, and the reason the board is now pushing to get him out. Tesla's favorability rating among Democrats went from 45% to 9% and it is definitely affecting sales.
