Matteni, I live in Heidelberg, give me a shout if you want to hook up for dinner/beers/a-bahn speed test!

Don

I love Heidelberg - one of my favorite cities. We will be staying in Altenbach (small town off the old forest near Schriesheim. We are only 15 mins from Heidelberg and am staying with a "host" family as well.

Really love it there (thus taking my wife & kids for their first trip). Would definately love to "get out" and see your NSX and experiance the Autobahn the way it was meant to!

Thanks again for the offer! / hope to see you soon...

Damn! Nice.

Well things did not work out very well with me and the IRS. So I have to postpone the buying of the Ayrton Senna Tag Heuer.

There is also a new Senna edition coming out late 2004. It is based on the new Link series which is a lot "smoother".

What Link I prefer I do not know. But please make sure that nobody buys that one and maybe next year I come down and get it :)

BTW How much was it then?

Regards

Well, my trip to Stuttgart was an incredibly fun and rewarding experience. I went through the Porsche Museum, which was not very impressive, and the Mercedes Museum, which was. The highlight was taking a tour of the Ruf factory. Though not big at all, the facilities are impressive and cars and work being done there was awe inspiring. 720hp cars with integrated rollcages, ceramic brakes, coiled suspension, AND two 21" speakers in the back. Whoa. It was enough to switch marques...;) If only they weren't so darned expensive or I made A LOT more money.

The majority of the trip was sightseeing in a decidedly nonautomotive way. Visited Salzburg, Bodensee area, Frankfurt, Munich, Inzell, and I slept through some place in Switzerland (I was suffering the effects of German lager), and the castles in Stuttgart and Neuschwanstein.

Had a blast!

Shawn

Did you meet up with some fellow NSX'ers then?

Regards

Unfortunately, I was unable to hook up with another NSXer. Perhaps next time?! I originally wanted to drive the Nurburgring and go to the F1 event...definitely in the future.

Hi

I will try to see if I can meet up with some NSX'ers this summer.

Maybe Black Forest and camp out in the backyard to the Heidelberg NSX'ers :)

I will drive on the Nurburgring too :)

Next year maybe I will try to go to Spa or a Swiss NSX meeting.

Regards
