To paint or not to paint is the Question

All this is kinda a mountain over a mole hill- if someone is worried about front end major damage, a competent body/frame shop can lift the car and do an inspection that would tell a buyer alot more than photos, newspapers, etc.

If there was no frame damage and the repaint was excellent quality, really who cares? An NSX is not a Bugatti or other
$1,000,000 car....

Anyways, personally I have bought many cars that had minor damage repaired, as long as:

> damage was not structural
> repairs were professional
> price of auto was fair
> all of above was revealed by seller

Personally, I have bought and sold many cars, and 99% of the time you can tell if you want the car just in the first 2 mintues of conversation with the owner. If they guy is an enthusiast and
up front with info or if the guy is a bozo- I underwrite the owner mostly, and this method has never failed me.

I agree with the comment above that, unless were dealing with
a true big buck collector car, I would rather have a prof painted
front end than an original full of chips, etc.

THese cars cost $30K, not $300K!
