I was driving through a hick-town in the mountains of Pennsylvania last week, and stumbled across the most bizarre sign. I have never in my life seen a sign like this before. Hopefully some of you NSX coppers can enlighten me on what this means? The town was Lehighton PA.

Sometimes its impossible to speed through this area. These "robo-cops," if you will, have these special magnets built into the streets, automatically slowing your car down to the speed limit. Of course, they magnets are rarely used anymore... ever since that one fateful day that a woman with an metal walker got stuck halfway in the street and was killed by a magnetized Swann's truck. It was even harder to get her body off of the street, due to her metal hip.

freaken hilarious and sad at the same time.

Translation: "Chief of Police in Lehighton PA got a radar gun for Christmas":):)

PA used to use a lot of VASCAR. They time you between two points.
v=s/t velocity=distance over time. basic physics. In MD and PA, there are a lot of white stripes painted across the road and time you between those markings. Bastards.

hmmm... Very true indeed, as I used to live in PA... :frown:

Then I moved from PA to MD...

Then I moved from MD to TX...

(btw, VASCAR is rather imprecise at times... as many officer "friends" had told me over a few cold ones  )
