lol F that! im standing my ground! anyways another reason why we decided not to do crap this vday is because her bday is in 2 weeks and I'm already getting her an LV purse and we all know that's the price of an NSX aftermarket exhaust or 1/7th of the price for my CTSC!

I love the way you put that in a car context. The rolex I bought my wife was the same as a CTSC...wow. She loves me love more (the wife not the car).

lol i was just trying make light of the subject

I actually caved in and now I'm going to surprise her with an all out home cooked meal, home made dessert (not talking sexually for the pervs) some chocalate ,flowers and probably a movie. Just some quality time together

Wish me luck...

You guys got it all wrong..... Here is what I got for Steve on Valentine's Day.

Exactly what he wanted: Cars and Candy

from Steveny's Wife.

BTW: He got me a Candlelight Couple's 1 hour massage.

Geez I feel pretty good as my wife doesn't like to go out on Valetines day because most places are usually crowded so we settled on seeing "Ghost Rider" on Saturday and me taking her to lunch afterwards. How cool is that? Also she loves to watch Horror movies and we play PS2 or PS3 for hours through the week and on weekends. Oh yeah she's a babe too. Normally you got find a ugly woman to get these kinda perks LOL

Valentine's Day are great for restaurants; eventhough I don't celebrate it, it is a very good thing.

Try telling that to fast food resauranteers, if you dare. ;) :D

BTW we had dinner at a fancy Greek restaurant in Glendale. Tasty giros, people dancing to live Greek pop music, great time. No flowers or choclates for her, but I did get a singing stuffed gorilla she bought from Walmart. lol

 RE the above

My lady and I both have busy schedules, so we pretty much treat every weekend like a special time. Life can be short, show and express your love daily. No real need for a specific day in the year to do that I suppose.

valentines day... a conspiracy and scam amongst flower companies + hallmark + and candy stores....

I agree 100%. B.S. created by capitalistic companies trying to screw us more. If it is supposed to be about love/romance then why is it that the guys do most of the buying. It's like another B-day for girls.

I told my gf and future wife that I don't need a special day to tell her that I love her. She was ok with it. However, I try to do nice/sweet things without spending money on Cards/candy/ and other B.S.

I got my wife two boxes of cookies (exactly the ones she wanted) and dinner in bed and I'm set for another year. But, then again, I do stuff for her all year long so I don't feel the pressure of doing "something special" for Valentine's Day.

In the US, we call that Steak & BJ Day

Nice, i'd pass on the steak:biggrin:

Ahh Man that totally sucks.. You missed your cue: she wanted you to go and collect your Valentines Day present from her AND her girlfriends.

Yes and subtle suggestions, straight over her head! Chinese girl/ japanese culture, strange mix.
But to be fair she did come over yesterday with home made chocolate and cookies. Bit of a sweetie.

ajnsx:
Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla do like the part of getting a present!
Hmmmm. New Carbon fiber dash kit LOL
Ah that's a wired kinda sign are you dating a lesbo?

I almost have everything i could want for my nsx *check my profile:wink:
Lesbo would mean i wouldnt see any action, working on the bisexual though  Shes studying to be a lawyer, gotta be careful, dont wanna be sued for breach of contract.

Oh ah ok!

It would be worse if she would be the judge!

French Army. Peace time operations in North central and NE Africa. Unfortunately no 'real' action. Operating the gazelle however was a priceless experience and might I add free of charge
