The last lap of Mother Goose

I met Guus many years ago at one of the early NSX Canyonball drives in Southern California. He was very friendly and a great NSX enthusiast. I had heard of his fight and it appeared that he was on the road to recovery. I am saddened to hear of his passing.

I could not believe what I was reading....it is terribly sad that a man so young was taken so quickly.....it made me even more sad to look at the pictures of him and of his car, a car which in the pictures looks to be empty....strangely symbolic of how it no longer has the pilot that guided it along the motorways and racetracks of Europe with such joyful enthusiasm....we will miss you, dear friend.....we will see you soon.

I also have a family member who suffers from a Brain tumor. I know what a tramatic experience it is for someone and their family to go through. My Thoughts and Prayers go out to Guus.

I never got a chance to meet Guus but I wish I would have...

I'm sure he was a great guy. It is so sad to hear of his death. My deepest condolences for his family since they are going through the hardest time right now.

Rest In Peace
