Truly an inspiration!!!

Mike

Mike,
Let me know when you want to dyno your NSX at Dynoxtreme, Graeme also want to dyno there to see what the car will put down on Dynojet. They have dynoed Vipers, Supras, Skyline GTR34, 33, 32. NSXes, Corvettes, Ferraries, AMG cars, etc. See how the #s stack up against other cars.

Check out the Plasma screen displaying dyno graph:

Jason,

I am not sure if I am going to be able to get my NSX dyno'd like we planned. Mike Vu is cleaning up a few things on my NSX and then it will be put on a transporter on the 20th. I would have no probloem if you made arrangements with Mike to take my NSX to Dynoxtreme for a Dyno. But, I think the schedule might be too tight to squeeze in a dyno.

Mike

Come dyno with us on a dynojet on the 28th of this month. I will be having a NSX DYNO DAY. Hit up Erick for more info guys!

Brian, I am expecting delivery of my NSX by the 20th of June, so I won't be able to make the 28th dyno session.

Mike

Many have requested a Frontal Pic of MikeC's vehicle. This has been added.

man the pictures doesn't do this car justice! It's really is a work of art! Great job! Makes me want to get the old school flip up lights instead of doing a 02 conversion!

Thanks... My approach will save you money in the long run, provided you are a fan of the pop-up headlights and a fan of the 02+ bumper.

Please tell me that "approach" in detail, as I am about to start the front of mine and yours is PERFECT. Did you graft the top of a pre-02 onto the bottom of an 02 upper bumper cover?

that front end is soo sexxyyyy!

what do you think about this ps'd version? i cleaned it up a little..

Here you go: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68962&highlight=bumper
Start w/ post #13.

Mike has the details, but it's not a grafting. It's a customized bumper made from an 02+ bumper mould. The top cover was customzized to fit the flip ups and turn signal cutouts were added. The bottom cover is the same as an 02+ w/ the exception of the custom lip. I saw pictures of it in progress. It is some pretty impressive work.

We need more pictures of the headlights.

What was actually done to it?

Thanks

Unless you are willing to dish out close to $2k per headlight (total $4k) and that you are going to have the same headlight set-up, does it matter if you see more pictures or find out exactly what was done?

Why ask if you're not going to do it, if you are than hit MikeC up through PM.

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking for more pictures, and I don't think it also has to mean if I'm asking for more pictures I better be prepared to do the same mod and fork up the same amount of money. That is just silly!

I guess they should lock the picture gallery so no one can comment or ask for more pictures when someone post pictures of their car or someone elses car. Why ask if you're not going to do it right?

Why ask? Because those headlights look awesome and you know how we NSX owners get into seeing new and creative ways of modifying the car. Oh, and BTW - I'm not planning on doing that mod. If I want to see those headlights, I'll just go and visit Mike.

Really...Why ask when in the end there is no action taken and you have wasted everyone's time involved in helping out? Don't take this the wrong way, but time is money, so how I see it..surface question(s) where things can be answered in one or two sentence is fine, but to involved full details and research, getting everyone involved to do nothing but waste time...don't you think that's alittle rediculous?

Also, do explain to me in full detail how we nsx owners get into seeing new and creative things? PM me the thesis, double space, and 10pt arial font, because i'm very unclear how we get? I'm messing...but I hope you see my point.

Maybe it's just me, I hate to waste people's time and I hate when people waste my time.

Way off topic, sorry but.

Wow. You're a bigger asshole than I am.

A simple answer answer like based on my question on the headlights, "many hours glassing and hacking up an oem G35(ex) headlight", would have been suffice.

Oh and I have $4000 to spend on headlights. Whether or not I will is yet unknown. I am definitely cheap in many ways, but open wallet in many others too.

Actually for my question or any others that isn't worth your time because it "costs you too much", a simple I don't know would work. Or how about, "IDK" or, hell less key strokes, "idk". That couldn't cost you more than a couple cents right?

Take a Chill Pill guys, this thread is about celebrating the great work by all involved to produce Mike's NSX.

Ref the many q's that pop up all over various threads ... if you dont have time or the answer then simply leave unanswered ... if it was important to who asked, they will ask again or pm. if they dont then you've spent no time at all.

Just my 2p's worth...

octechgeek, thanx for adding the head on front photo, much appreciated. I'm nowwaiting to hear if this upper wil go into production (hopefully in Poly) to mate to the factory 02 lower.

regards,

I think you had a bad day this day. Someone who knows both of us pretty well tells me that you are much nicer guy than your post indicates.

Mickey,
I do apologize if I came across rude. In general, I would say I'm a very nice guy, I guess that wasn't a good day for me and I was getting emails asking about new pictures of this and that which was already shown on the thread. Once a photo session is done, it's kinda hard to get some addition shots again to meet everyone's needs. I try my best to supply as many angles as possible and as many close-ups as possible, but still sometimes you cannot shot everything.

Again, nothing personal...sorry about the Tude if I came across that way.

amgnsx,

Thanks for the links and pictures.:) After looking at the links I remember reading about them when the project first started.

Nothing to apologize about. Hell, I think being called an asshole is quite the compliment! I pride myself in my accomplishments

my pleasure.

funny thing is. it took me a while to find it from my thread subscriptions. LOL

not to go off topic or something... but....
going though them (Thread subscriptions) brought back some nice memories and post here in prime.

Mike, you need to post a good picture of your spoiler.
