Hello all-I have a 94 NSX with a targa top!It was produced in 3-93,nut the TOP seems legit!I wander if the original owner had Acura do it,because its very well done!Question is:Will the 95-02 targa top compartment fit in my 94?I still have never seen it,BUT I heard 95-up have 1!

Can you contact the previous owner for verification on who performed the targa conversion? It definitely wouldn't have come from the factory that year with one and I highly doubt an Acura dealer would've taken on a project like that for various reasons. I'd say it was a most likely a specialty body shop who performed the work. http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showt...a-coupe-a-targa?highlight=convert coupe targa My main concern would be if the proper structural reinforcements were added, if at all, after removing the roof. Regarding the engine cover, I'd call Science of Speed which is an NSX specialist for fitment verification. There was a thread a few years back about an owner wanting to do the opposite by putting a non-targa engine cover on a targa and SOS stated that it wasn't possible due to some difference in design. http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/176103-Does-a-91-94-engine-cover-fit-over-ctsc-in-targa HTH.

Wow...crazy! A 94 targa???

So...........Petey677.....would you post up a photo of your NSX's VIN (in front of driver at base of windshield) and FMVSS label (white label inside driver's door opening that has VIN and month/year of manufacture) please?

Curious.

Is posting VIN numbers really a good idea on the web Gents?

For reference regarding the engine cover, mine is a T-top and Ive had the OEM T-top, Coupe and currently OEM NSX-R cover and all fit fine ... HTH
