Ok, I'm pissed and I just want to vent about my frustration w/ the front lip. I know this is a futile discussion/question, but how the heck do those of you who have the ultra expensive one piece JGTC type bumper cover/lower valence/lip combinations keep from scraping the hell out of the fiberglass? In most pics I've seen of your NSXes, your front lips seem to be flawless (maybe it's the distance of the pic). I would never be able to have one of those front ends b/c I'd crack the hell out of the lip in no time. Shoot, I can't even keep from scraping the hell out of the stock lip! I've had my NSX for about 4 years and realize that it's lowered (w/ Eibachs) and I take all the necessary precautions like angling up/down/over speedbumps, driveways, etc. But then there are the occasional unavoidable obstacles that you don't see or you see, but can't avoid! So far, I've been thru 2 oem lips, 1 Wings West (repainted twice), 2 RM lips, SOS Carbon Fiber lip (cracked after 1.5 weeks), fiberglass Gruppe M/Erebuni (debating whether to install or to leave hanging in my garage since I know I'll crack that too- easily about $1,000 worth of lips and paint jobs! Please tell me I'm not the only one/ what do you guys do?

:( Sorry to hear about your problem... a little humour might help.. have you considered asking PHOEN$X about his kit which raises his car into an SUV? :D j/k

Have you considered going diagonal and going really slow over speed bumps and driveways? I still have my OE 94 front splitter... I am about to get the SOS style CF splitter though... I hope it lasts longer than 1.5 weeks.

With my Wingwest I scrape the same as with my OEM '91 lip and less than with the '97 OEM lip. And when I scrape the WW lip's paint resist a lot better than OEM (probably because it flexes in a easier way...).
