Taking the doors apart??

My left window is making a pop noise when it gets near the top so I am thinking of taking the doors apart to grease it. I was told this car has the fix-it-thingys in there, but I have no real way of knowing, so I guess I will find out.

Any tips on how to do this?

Yup, just follow the service manual. See section 20-6, which is page 832 of the PDF in the FAQ.

How much time are we talking about per door?

It takes me probably 5 minutes with power tools to pull a door panel off.

You can do it in less than that, if one of the power tools is a chain saw.

Of course, then the problem is getting it back together...

It's really not that hard at all...I did both of mine and just took my time. I went to the Bose speaker repair in the FAQs just follow the picture by picture of the door panel removal. I thought it was going to be a pain it was not bad at all.
