+1 for the GTLW! I love the deeper more refined sound of the GTLW. People have different taste I guess... some like the louder higher pitch sound of the 5.1 and others like the (v8) sound of the GTLW. You don't know how many times people say it sounds like a larger displacment engine. Excellent thread by the way

+1 for the GTLW, I have have the opportunity to install a GT One v5.1 on DC935's NSX and a GTLW. GT One v5.1 sounds awesome too, but not for that kind of money. The best bang for the buck is the GTLW(that is what I have on my car).

Honestly one of the best sounding things I've ever heard come out of an automobile.

gah i want a 5.1 so bad...

Hey that is the first time, i can hear the VTEC switch over!! I mean when i am driving mine X, i can't really tell/hear/feel it switch to VTEC!!!

But on my Civic with B16A, i can really feel and hear the change when the VTEC switch over. I do understand the smooth change over on the X is a good thing.

Thanks for the video!

I have the stock air box with K&N filter and my taitec exhaust (GT-001) is some what suck!! I always think there is something wrong with it but it comes with the car when i bought it. Anyway i got another exhaust that i am going to install soon and see if that make the difference.

Sounds great Chad. Your in car accleration 18.75sec into the video. HOLY VTEC....

So looking forward to do our duo team video shoot. We need a long tunnel.

I have the stock air box with K&N filter

Downforce or Cantrell AIS will allow you hear more noticeable VTEC switch point over stock. Mark at Autowave mentioned The Gruppe M or Mugen intake will also make VTEC switch point more noticeable to the ear.

Thanks for the tip! The Downforce scoop is good choice but i really like the look of Gruppe M air filter ($$$).
