Nice!!! Is that close to Green Hills?

You know the more NSX exhausts I hear, the more I realize they sound pretty much the same. There are very slight difference but if a NSX drives by without seeing it, whether it has a GTLW, GT-ROM, Groupe M, Tubi, etc I can tell it's an NSX.

When I bought my Tubi, it didn't sound like my friend's Tubi on his Murcielago... that's because I am missing 6 cyl.

If the stock exhaust was a little lighter and a little louder, we could have all saved a couple of grand. Too bad Honda did a shitty job on the NSX exhaust.

I used to think that too but at meets I got to hear other exhausts. And they are different for sure. You just can't hear it on youtube. They are I would say in the same family perhaps but I hear significant differences in person.

As for Honda's design... I can tell you one thing it keeps the trunk a lot cooler than the "lightweight" aftermarket units. It also kept the car real civil, an easy daily driver. I think all of us on this forum are more car enthusiasts and therefore don't mind some extra noise. Some would definitely object to almost any of these aftermarket ones.

No matter the exhaust, they all have the same basic sounding NSX characteristic to it. I can always tell when an NSX is going by.

Be different, get a turbo!

You can put up Thermotek stick on heat barrier above the exhaust which helps alot. As well, I would think that wrapping the exhaust in header rap would significanly reduce trunk temps.

Thanks, Thats real sound, if you were to close your eyes and listen , 10 out 10 people will guess more than 6 cylinders.

What about a deep sound? (Like what the stock engine sounds like inside only louder and outside?)

Or are most of the systems available for the car the high pitched kind?

The deep sound of an exaust is typical of American Muscle (Deeetroit Iron)
Euro and Nip auto's with high reving engines have a high pitched whine like a formula 1 engine,
Think of a Honda M/C vs a Harley M/C.

AWE Christ who the heck asked for my stupid opinion anyway.

Ahh but I so do Love to hear a well tuned high performance engine wind up!

Drive "RED" The only real color!

LOL I'm still waiting for you to sell it and get the Lovefab turbo set up so you can be true to your namesake.

Here's my JackSports exhaust on the track at Gateway.

Was that you driving? wow you actually looked almost decent.

You know the more I drive mine the more I realize how much of a difference the valve makes for controlling drone. It stopped working for a while due to an electronic issue and man... it sucked without it.
