Re: STMPO RACE PRODUCTS - New product offering - NSX Front Chassis Reinforcement Bar

If I am reading and understanding this thread correctly then we have two options when installing this product:

1) install it without NSX-R chassis bars
2) install it with NSX-R chassis bars

STMPO, can you confirm this?

Also if I install the NSX-R front sway bar along with this product, will it be too stiff for Street set up?

You are correct with the two options. This bar will not effect the fitment of nsx-r chassis bars. It will how ever provide more overall strength than the nsx-r bars.

For your second question... I have comptech sway bars, a stmpo front chassis bar, and complaince front clamps.. I do not feel it is too stiff for street use

Re: STMPO RACE PRODUCTS - New product offering - NSX Front Chassis Reinforcement Bar

Installed the STMPO chassis bar today. Top notch quality. It looks great on the car, it made the car looks like a race car. The bar is one macho looking piece.

The bar is surprisingly lightweight for its size, virtually zero weight gain with the removal of oem tie down. Did not had to use the washers in the package. Looking forward to more new product from STMPO. Thanks again:smile:

What's the weight?

This is what was comented by one of our first buyers of the bar.

Thanks for the possitive comments Jason. Were glad our R&D in coming up with the calculation of length worked out.

Can you tell me what makes this product better than the $100 similar product Dali sells?

Thanks.

Our part is different in these cases

1) it is one piece without adjustments or brackets
2) it is made from 4130 1 1/2 " .065 wall chromoly tubing not heavy steel aka - F1 race spec standards
3) it replaces the OEM tie downs... not an addition to them
4) Tig welded with ER 308L stainless steel rod for strength
4) You get to choose the finish... we have so many to pic from

I guess the last difference between our bar and Dali's is... even though we are a new company to this community. We have a phone, we answer it, and we care if you are happy with our product...

I have bought parts from Mark befroe and I have always received them. This is just a fact of no phone number and what the trader rating actually is.

This bar really is a quality product as are all of the other products STMPO produces. I just installed a STMPO rear aluminum bumper beam and I was amazed at the fit and quality. Ross and his guys really do their homework.

I swung by the shop during one of our NSX drives a few weeks ago and I was amazed at the activity in the shop. NSX's every where all in various stages of R&D. MANY cool products being developed. I was excited to see such dedication to NSX part development and what that means to NSX owners.

thanks again for the kind words Matt... let me know if I should start a set of those side skirts for you .. and when are you going to get one of these on the front... huge benifit over stock!!!

pardon the 2 wheel guy that only works with Titanium..lol

1. How long is typical install? (i have VERY high tech shop, but again, 99.9% 2 wheels...but have the shop/tools/like working on my NSX) whats all involved?

2. Im brain farting (VP MR-11 race gas in dyno all day does that to ya) but do you have to remove the front bumper? Radiator?

3. Can you see it with hood open? front the outside? (i have 2002 front end)

Thanks in advance guys...OH and the price is VERY nice! (i laugh at nsx guys that cry about $300 this or that...hell we just got in a new full exhaust..ONLY the exhaust for a guys bike and it was $3,800)

Keep up the great work!!

1. Took Ramon about 1 hour

2. Just need to jack up the car, remove undertray and plastic radiator duct to bolt on the chassis bar.

3. It is visible if you look from certain angles through the front opening. Sit just slightly lower than the mesh guard on 02 front bumper.

It gives the NSX a really racy/muscle look. Ross recommended gray, which suits my subtle taste perfectly. The gray chassis bar blend in perfectly while still being low key. Fantastic looking piece.

We have 10 of these made ready for finish and shipping... $300.00 paypal has been extended till the end of October...

PM or or reply here with questions....

Regards

The 300.00 paypal price will be honored on these until further notice...

Or like downforce put it... business sucks ...lol

is this one worth 150 + more then the nsx-r one..?

We have had rave reviews of this product and the r&d, zero weight increase, no loss in functionality of any NSX part, attention to detail, welds, and overall performance increase does justify it's price.... IMO of coarse

This set-up will provide more reinforcement than the NSX-R Chassis Reinforcement Set (front & front lower pair) ... at a lower price as well after you buy the spacer kit to fit it on.

sos price - 276.75 plus 49.50 or 58.50 depending on what year NSX you have

DOes this come in black?

Stmpo Race products is now offering an NSX front Chassis Reinforcement Bar for a discounted price for the month on August.

We will be selling these for 349.50 on our website that is being launched sometime this month. So until that happens we are offering them to prime members for 300.00 pay pal shipped to your door (lower 48 only at this price)

The STMPO RACE PRODUCTS NSX Front Chassis Reinforcement Bar replaces the existing OEM steel tie down brackets with laser cut steel replica's welded to a 1 1/2 " chromoly tube in between for a more ridged front chassis. This set up adds a sturdy reinforcement up front without the additional weight since we replicated the OEM tie down brackets a bit thinner to make up for the light weight chromoly bar.

This bar comes welded in one piece... not a 3-6 piece "bolt on and adjust with brackets" system. This is also not aluminum or a bent aluminum piece for that matter... that advertises additional chassis support. This is the real deal in added chassis reinforcement.

The STMPO RACE PRODUCTS NSX Front Chassis Reinforcement Bar is welded here and finished by the owners request. We fabricate and finish all of our products in house... so if you would like a custom finish... please send us a PM and we will get back to you. The current finishes avaiable are as follows...

The Bar itself - Berlina Black, GP White, powder grey, protected steel (clear coated) and grinded steel (also clear coated for protection)

The Emblem - Berlina Black, GP White, powder grey, Red, silver, protected steel (clear coated) and grinded steel (also clear coated for protection)

Installation is easy but does require minor cuts to be made to the plastic air dam in front for exact fitment (please view the pics provided). The bar does utilize the stock bolts when you replace the tie-down brackets.

Feel free to email questions to [email protected]

Or call down to the shop at 480-889-1482

DOes this come in black?

yes it does... I can do a black bar and you choose the color of the logo...

see the last couple pics in the first post I included on this answer... its a berlina black bar with a white logo

Maybe a repeat question, I just acquired a 2001 NSX T and am wanting to tighten up the chassis. Would this help the cause? I also have a Cantrel front bumper, does this piece interfere with aftermarket front ends/bumpers? Are there others pieces you would recommend for the chassis twisting on the NSX T? And last, do you suggest useing the type r pieces with your frame piece? Much benefit?

Thanks:biggrin:

Yes this would... quite a bit I might add...

I also have a Cantrel front bumper, does this piece interfere with aftermarket front ends/bumpers?

The bar was designed to work with all bumpers and all oem parts associated with the NSX... You will also find additional benifit in the future... should you decide to add a heat exchanger if you ever went turbo or sc... this bar will be the mounting point of the exchanger

Are there others pieces you would recommend for the chassis twisting on the NSX T?

The only other parts available that I would recommend would be Ti-Daves front clamps / rear beam bushings / toe-links...

And last, do you suggest useing the type r pieces with your frame piece? Much benefit?

type -r bars will fit with this application but not needed IMO

Thanks for posting answers to my questions.

I called Ross today, and he answered on the first ring!!! He is full of information on the NSX, maybe too much!! I was very impressed with his level of dedication and knowledge to the modding and should I say "improving" of the NSX. He thinks way outside the box, much like myself, and I like that. I will for sure be buying products from his company....He has some "awesome" ideas and in the pipeline....His products are "hardcore" and go way beyond carbon fiber covered this and that or cupholders, or 3k stupid ass exhaust systems.
He does appear to have a pretty mean body kit available!! Save your modding money and stay tuned for what appears to be a great source for NSX items.

OK , thats my 50cents worth.:cool::cool::cool:
