I'm about to say this and it may sound blasphemous to some of you ,but after looking at Vances car I think Honda would have been better off making the Type R in black:eek: There I said it and I'm not taking it back:biggrin:

Really??? How come the pictures always posted show it in white?

I'm also very impressed with the Type R bars. You have to tell us about the Type R suspension once you get it.

Just got my NSX R wheels... It felt light, really light... can't wait to put them on... to bad today is a Sunday... Maybe I'll drive aroudn to see if any tire shops are open. Stupid me, ordered the wheels from two places, and both of them got a set for me at the same time... So if I can't back out on the second deal... it will be on Prime looing for new home.

I also got my NSX R Momo steering wheel, my friend Erick (EVO575GTC) installed it for me, it was a bitch to install, all the feaking wires, jumper cables to shut down SRS lights, tight screws etc. But it looked beautiful... Again, I was so moved by it's beauty and I was practially in tears again.

Tomorrow will be even more exciting. My NSX R suspension is sitting at LAX ready just cleared custom. Hopefully I can have them on before I have to open my business on Monday... lol, I'll be driving all over S Cal on Tuesday:biggrin: Maybe my buddy Ted can put also help me put on the Type R/S rear Sway bar. He did an awesome job putting on the front chassis bars and sway bar.

The car looks good, you will have to take it to Crystal Cove this weekend (there is an effort underway to have some nsx's arrive at 6:30AM to get into the display area)

Vance,

Looking good.

Vance,

Your my HERO!!!

Will you add some spacers to push the wheel out after the suspension is installed?

Mike

I think the reason why there so many white Type-R is that the owner doesn't have to remind other people the car is Type-R. Where as if the NSX-R is of other colour you have to tell them about the white headlmap, white wheels, yellow needle on the gauges, the hood and the wings and so on. I'll try to find one in LBBP.

That is incredible, so many tough to get goodies. I want to see your NSX in person. Are you selling the OEM wheels by any chance?

These exhaust tips are sexy and looks high end $$

The exhaust do look very elegant, so is the sound.

I just got my Type R suspension on today... MAN... It's the hardest ride I have ever had. Probably hardest factory suspension in the world!!! Reminded me the old 2001 S2K I used to own, which was very harsh already.

The car drives like a go-kart. I'm not sure if I will ever get use to it, considering my car is my daily driver. But I'll manage it some how.

hehe I love your enthusiasm.... "hardest suspension the world"... yet not a peep of "maybe I will change it"... thats a hardcore type R enthusiast if I ever saw one.... I think Honda should just give you a type R for all the love you have shown the car.

Dude, these suspension is unreal, other than the harshness, which is a small price to pay, my car accelerate faster, and have almost zero body roll. I can see why they made such a big deal out of it. I highly recommand it to anyone, this is single handily, the greatest handling mod any one can have. I took off from my store at 6pm and drove for three hours straight, I pushed it hard practially in every corner.

Unlike the S2k, the car does not over steer as much, and it was much safer to push hard when making sharp turns. I can't believe it, but it's true... If I enter the corner at the same speed in a S2k, I'm guarantee major spins.

No cruise with the momo wheel?

I got my custom plate last week, dedication to Ayrton Senna. Cruise control can be mounted on to the steering whee, but I need a different hub. I have it, but my friend is borrowing it.

Don't you feel understearing while accelerating out of a corner? I have this with the Type-S AND the Type R swaybar and hate it. :)
Let us know some longterm testing of the Type R suspension.
