Isn't this the same thing as the bel canto / GT-Rom v6? It looks identical to the design.....

Let's not go there. Sensitive subject.

lol i know but i think its only fair that ppl know that this is basically a rebranded exhaust from previous attempts at trying to sell this thing.... it makes you wonder why it has so many names.....:wink:

Courtesy of NetViper, thank you for the V2 review and videos: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141226

I want to start this review by thanking Mark at Pride. He has been excellent to work with the entire time. Very good guy. Excellent communication. I highly recommend him. Mark was leaving for vacation the next day when we talked, but he made sure to get the exhaust packed up that night because he knew I wanted it for Friday. Again, great guy!

Now to the exhaust.

Bad news first. It does drone. It isn't bad, but it is right around 2300-2700. Not as bad as the GT Lightweight -- but nothing is. Hopefully over time it will quiet down a litte. If it didn't do this, it would easily be the best exhaust I have ever heard.

The Good.
Everything else!!!

The Fitment is excellent. It was very simple to install. It took my about an hour and half to get my old exhaust off, and 20 minutes to put the pride on.
I know there were fitment issues with the earlier exhausts, but I can tell you this one is great. See the pix.

The Sounds is awesome. From outside the car it sounds really great, inside it sounds good, but not near as loud as outside. In fact, cruising on the interstate it is near stock sounding at 3,000 RPM. Very nice. It is not obnoxious in any way.

The exhaust looks great also. Nice Tips, great size. It looks tough on the car.

I think I weighed it about 28 lbs, not bad at all.

So enough of my yapping, check out the pix and the videos. The videos are not great as my wife recorded them the wrong way with her iPhone 4, but you are watching for the sound anyway.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Again, thanks to Mark. Great stuff!

Courtesy of Ko-NSX, Thank you KO: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141107 post #12

I installed the Pride V2 exhaust today. The exhaust sound FAR exceeded my expectations. I've heard the gt one 5.1, this i guess is supposed to sound like the 6.1. WHATEVER its supposed to sound like, it fits my car perfectly!!! I was thinking it was gonna be an el-farto. The 5.1 was tinny but this one is definitely a refined head tuner!!!!!!!! Completely tolerable while cruising but sounds like a refined exotic sports car when stomped on. Even when i stomped on it, it was quiet in the cabin. I was skeptical but after driving and getting a thumbs up from Alas-nsx, i am happy with it. Aggressive looking cars need an aggressive exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros-reasonably priced, EXCELLENT customer service, packaged well, fitting exotic sound, easy install. Ti slip on tips look nice and can help in adjusting the tips sticking out from the bumper.

Cons-I still need to adjust it some, the tailpipes are off a little and the passenger side tip touches the rear valence a little. THIS COULD be corrected by tweaking or maybe in need to adjust the brackets. Its definitely not a deal breaker. I'm sure every car is different.

Here are some pics and a clip, im making more this weekend.

Looks clean, I pmed you some questions. Look forward to hearing for you :)

I just wanted to say, .................AMAZING. Not only did mark personally deliver the exhaust to me but he is a very nice guy. I had friends over who heard it on his car, it sounds slightly more f1ish than most other exhausts, but I put it on my car with test pipes and OMG can only be used to describe it. If you are iffy on sound levels, this may not be for you. If you are looking for the sickest exhaust IMO then this is the one to get. Not sure of how V2 sounds, but V1 is sick. I have a quick link up on youtube so you can see the difference between the video someone posted with cats and the one I have without. Again, vid sucks but i will get a better one up. Thanks again mark. You will have to personally hear the exhaust. Great system :)

We currently have 1 left on the Pride V1 exhaust instock. Perfect fitment. If anybody's interested let me know. I can ship it out today or latest the following business day. Thank you guys!

See: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1357996&postcount=72 or below

I want to thank you guys for your patience. Currently we have reintroduce our Pride V1 exhausts. We have a couple instock and they are the dual tips (single per side). All exhausts have been fitment tested. We offer adaptors for 95-99 NSX's for $100 extra. We currently don't offer any adaptors for the 00-05's (coming soon). You'll have to either get them from SOS or another Prime member.

On the Pride V1 Exhausts our reintroductory price will be $950 shipped & insured. We also sell true titanium burnt slide on tips for $50 for the pair. See below pictures for reference.

Pride V2 exhausts will be available on a seperate group buy. The V2 prices are $1100 shipped for the dual and $1130 shipped for the quads. The differences are the design on the pipings.
