Sneak peek: PRIDE V2 Quad tips exhaust

Just wanted to add my review of this exhaust. I always craved that F car sound. My GT-102 sounded great, but this exhaust with test pipes sounds amazing! I have watched many video clips and in person this exhaust sounds sooo much better while driving. Maybe it's the test pipes??? The sound sounds like a V8 a lower RPM's and like a F-car (I have driven a 355,360,and a 430) at mid range and higher RPM's. OK, maybe not quite like a Ferrari, but it has its own character. It is not nearly as raspy as I expected. I went out for a drive drive today and received many compliments. The only drawback is the smell with test pipes...I can deal with it, but I hope my wife can:biggrin:

I want to add that Mark with Pride has A+ service. He was sick and still sent out the exhaust. I highly recommend his service.

Had some time today to try the exhuast with OEM cats. The sound is not even close at higher RPM's if you are wanting to hear the F1 like sound. The raspiness is totally gone but the sound is not as raw. I will be switching back to TP's.

So stoked ... my quad tips arrived today! A few more pictures, as these pups are like art work!

Just got mine installed. Top notch product - quad tips line up perfectly and very refined sound. Most importantly, Mark has provided one of the best customer services I have ever experienced. Thank you so much, Mark!!

Just slipped the Pride Quad Tip on my 1991 today and posted a quick video for your listening pleasure... see link below:

I installed in the garage without a lift. Took a few minutes to remove the 20 year old bolts on the stock exhaust and then installed the Pride unit. Install the upped flange (passenger side near tire well) first. I did it by myself with only the driver's side rear hanger in place and a box under the main unit to make sure I didn't drop it by accident. It only took minutes to get it place and fit looks perfect with no rubbing anywhere. (I originally attached the lower flange first but found the upper didn't line up right. Quick text to Mark at Pride and a quick response instructing me to first connect the upper one ... viola = perfect and easy)... live and learn.

There sure is a lot of burned oil coming out!

It's called condensation .. probably something you don't see a lot in LA. Just watch a Steeler's or Bear's game some time in December .. all the hogs up front are exhaling the same fog.

black / dark condensation? I know what it does when its cold out I grew up in Atlanta..

in warm weather there is no smoke ... but when i did this it was about 20 degrees out & i was loosing my light when i took the video, so i had to change the brightness, saturation and contrast on the video so you could see the tips and it made the condensation smoke look funny ... no real worries... just enjoy the sound!

Yup and it's installed

Just a note for 02+ NSXers.....
I'm using stock headers and cats with SOS adapters and the Pride V2 Quad tips fits perfectly on the rear valance.
I did not need to bend any hangers.

will post some pix and vids soon
