Say Something Nice About a Prime Member

MSKADYB

I have to give a big THANK YOU to Karen for helping me out a couple of days ago. Long story short, I had to ask for a BIG favor and she came thru like a true champ. Its very nice to know that there are people like her (and others ive seen) on this site that you can count on in times of need.

I hope to get her and her boyfriend out to an NSX event soon so y'all can see how great these people are!

Also have to give a Shoutout to FURYNSX, 91X, RoNSX, CKS papa (whens that kid due?) for making me feel incredibly welcome whenever I go to an NSX event. Thanks guys!

You're totally welcome Kevin. Just glad to help a friend out. :) We'll come out to an event sometime when non-NSX drivers are allowed...haha. :p

"Z" ( NSX FoYoAss )

He met up with me and brought me into the Houston NSX group. Since then Ive met some of the greatest guys that Ive ever had the privledge to know. Paul, Tommy, Ricky, Nick, and Darren. Thanks you guys for being the kind of guys you are!!! Also cant forget our Austin Bros. Umar and Ojas. Hey Ojas thanks for the avatar! Again thanks to Z and the rest of the crew for making the NSX experiance that much greater. :p :p :p You guys really define the character of the NSX community.

Andrie Hartanto

Having met MANY great folks from this board and in the NSXCA, I would have to single out Andrie. The single event that sticks out in my mind is when a group of us were at Thunderhill and late in the day, I blew a coolant hose. For those who know T-Hill, they also know that there is NOTHING out there. I thought that I would be stranded out there for sure . . .

After a temporary panic, we went to a local garage to find a replacement hose that was remotely close in size (with some cutting) and returned. Upon our return Andrie just rolled up his sleeves and got "under the hood" and replaced the hard to reach hose ON the SPOT! He saved my a$$ is a big way.

As mentioned, there are many, many great folks on this board and I don't see the NSX guys as much anymore, but Andrie . . .

I still owe you one! Thanks again!

Kevin

My pleasure Steve, anytime. :)

I would like to thank NeoNSX for his invaluable computer advice, and creating kickass images (like this month's calendar) for me!

Of course, the whole NSX Prime crew, as well as the local AZ gang, are such awesome people.

One more

Thank's RSO for reminding me of one more.
Phoensx did the same thing for me a while back. I don't know if I ever got around to thanking him properly or not.

Holy Crap! I didn't know you were in an accident. I am glad you are ok. Sorry to hear about your NSX.

I'm reminded of how hospitable the San Fran crew was to me during a brief visit, out west.Andrie and Steve(white nsx's) took out personal time to entertaine!

In general everyone here is a cut above the rest. I can not say enough about Ken (nsxtasy). He may not be Lud but he is "MR NSXprime" and also one can not forget Ken it the treasurer of NSXCA.

As for helping with answering questions about the NSX I have to say I look forward to the next question. Bouncing ideas and solution off of Dano, LarryB and others is great. Each question posed, give me a chance to learn more about my NSX :D so keep them coming, my service manuals are getting good use

THREE CHEERS FOR LARRY BASTANZA!!!!

He is the consumate professional with regard to automotive servicing, and he is a great guy to hang around with to boot!

Since purchasing my 91 silver/ivory he has performed all my maintenence, and I am 110% satisfied with all aspects of his work. I even get nice receipts to add to my record books!

Hip-Hip Horray!!

Okay, I'd like to nominate NeoNSX. Every now and again he drops me a line and says he digs my avatar.

Ken,

Did it ever occur to you that Neo is just giving you lines and like to look at your butt . . . (The NSX butt, of course!) HaHa, Kevin

I like to thank Lud, for the awesome board. Making my life owning an NSX is once a lifetime experience.

Jim, Ken, Kenji, George, Telly, Kevin, Steve all bay area NSX-er. Best bunch of people I ever met. Some became my close friends and best buddies.

Larry B for his wealth of knowledge.

I know I still forgetting somebody, which is the reason why I don't post until this late.

I also want to say a few words on Larry Bastanza's behalf. What a nice guy. Always there to answer technical questions with no financial interest. Has helped me numerous times even going so far as to call me long distance to make sure I was ok. Thank you sincerely Larry!

And ofcourse Lud/NSX Prime and all the others that have helped.

Regards,
- Z

DCNSX & ISONSX

DCNSX: Howard has been kind enough to take me for rides in his NSX and to let me drive it! He coordinates the local (Metro DC area) NSX get togethers and is an overall very cool guy.

ISONSX: Though I haven't picked up the car yet, Tory has been the most stand up guy you could hope for in a sales transaction. He's open and honest and very, very friendly. Granted he wants to sell his car, but I get the sense that he's a genuinely nice person. It's really been a great experience thus far. Can't wait to get the car!

robr - a fellow musician for keeping an eye out for a rare/discontinued instrument i'm searching for. he doesn't have to yet he has and that makes him a great guy in my book.

MarkB

Mark Bartlett (MarkB) deserves some recognition for coming through in the clutch with some generous assistance. Mark drove in from Kansas to attend an HPDE school with us Northeasterners at Watkins Glen the past 2 days. This particular event also included the annual Kids Day outing for a local camp for children with cancer. http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36517

One of our members, RPM217, had a tire shred off his wheel on the way to the event. When he finally arrived at the track (he was coming up just for the kids to take them on laps in his NSX) he was on the spare and obviously could not go out on the track even at parade lap speeds.

Mark immediately offered to loan Roger his right rear wheel/tire while Mark was running his track wheels/tires. He provided the tools as well and Roger's 520 mile round trip just to help out the kids was not ruined because of his incident driving up.

We are proud to have Mark as an honorary lifetime member of the Northeast region now and look forward to his return trip to NSXPO 2004.

Thanks, Mark, for helping not only with Roger's situation but also with joining us in our annual Kids' Day tradition at the Glen.
