This is in reference to a *deleted* thread on superchargers. I had offered to speak with a friend from Road & Track in regards to doing a thorough review of ALL available force-induction systems for the NSX.

The initial responses from the board members were positive. I have also recieved a private response from one of the tuners, who liked the idea. That was the queue for me to go ahead and speak to the friend.

After speaking with him, he was very receptive of the idea and said there is definitely a potential for such a story with Road & Track

One of the determining factor is the number of participating tuners. It is also important that the tuners represent themselves, instead of endusers.

Naturally, it would be to everyone's best interest to allow all tuners to work out the bugs and to represent as intended.
I understand Larry is still in the process of refining his Turbo setup and Mark's supercharger is on its final beta run.

Please respond. The more information and details I am able to get from the NSX community and especially the Tuners, the higher the chances we have for this to turn gold.

Kudos for taking the lead on this. What can we end-users do to help improve the likelihood of such an article being published?

Well, those end-users who own supercharged or turbocharged NSXes can certainly request to have thier car be used for the review by their developer.

I would imagine those without extra modifications (intkae, exhaust, headers, etc.) will be most sought after. This way, a fair comparos could be assessed.

The other thing is simply get the words out to the right poeple (the Develpers? ...hint hint!)

This would be a great way to get the truth. It's better then all the blood-letting arguments that can pull the board membership apart. I just wonder who will bring their forced induction systems to the plate...?

Seems like if your interested in the kit vendors, then there's a pretty short list of the usual suspects, Comptech, Basch, Alex V. (GruppeM?), Larry (turbo), Bell (Turbo) that you could probably contact directly. If you want to add tuners/installers (system integrators?), then the list is a bit longer. If the comparo were done in NorCal, I could be persuaded to let the R&T folks test my CT SC car, but I doubt I could get any CT involvement.
