Yes... I found a guy in Anaheim, CA who performs a 4-step process. (of course, if you know about plating, you know there are many more steps to a typical 3-step process. Anyway...) 1) copper, 2) nickel, 3) bright nickel, then 4) chrome. I have had many people tell me that they can tell the difference... but I can't.

I had them done almost 10 years ago. So far, there are no problems.

After researching and reading posts about the PVD chrome process, I will probably give that a try next time I have any "chroming" performed.

The PVD process is the way to go 100%, I have had it done, not only on wheels but other parts too and it is fantastic!

Hmmm I'm thinking of getting my Volks powder coated or chromed...willl have to look into this...amazing wheels!!
