Removing tails?

Updated - at Lowe's, I purchase a roll of grey foam (one side is sticky other side isn't) in a 10ft roll. It measure's 1/2" wide by a 1/2" tall and compresses about 50% once you bolt down the taillight. Total cost, $3. It's in the same aisle as the rubber seals for garage doors, window seals, etc.

weatherstrip foam? I don't know how long that will last... its indoor stuff.

Is there a way of drying out moisture and condensation on the inside of the center logo lens, without separating the red lens from the black plastic housing?

I have the center piece off the car.
