I searched before asking.

This involves a 1995 NSX, primarily stock wheels and tires, but lowered at least an inch.
When I bought the car the TCS on/off switch was not working. I had to disable the TCS computer to get the car smogged in CA. After I replaced the switch, I didn't have any more issues with the TCS and the switch worked to turn off the TCS for a subsequent smogging.
Now I have a problem with the TCS off (yellow) light coming on sometimes while driving. The off light will stay on until the vehicle is turned off. Then it will reset and may not come on for a while, but then it happens again. The TCS on/off switch has no effect on the problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be causing this or what must be done to fix it.

Couple of possibilities

First the switch or the wiring in the switch circuit has a intermittent short.

Second there is some malfunction in the TCS system and it is turning it self off because of that. This is more likely, I believe there is a way to get the trouble code(s) and see what is making the TCS shut down. See the service manual in the FAQ's under reference here for the retrieval procedure and codes.
