Procar Specials NSX

you can't imagine how bad i need one of those gearboxs...not enough money...:frown:
Is it the box you need or the performance? If the latter, then isnt it just the final drive ratio that changes over a std 6 speed?

HTH,

although my car is a 97... it's a early 97 before the NA2...so 5spd... and i'll probably need a major work on my gearbox...so, instead of spending a boat load on it, i think it's smarter to buy the NA2R one...it's new (problem soved) and i start to have that 6th speed

we got another NSX-R seat set in. (NA1R)
The Recaro seats are into perfect condition.
Very rare units directly from Honda
price: 12000 Euro (+shipment)

The seats are sold, thanks
This was probably the last set, which we could get.
Please no further inquiries.

Maybe some of you know that we tried to get the seat molds from Recaro,
which are stored in germany during the production process.
(These cf seats buckets are made in germany !)
Honda Japan took back that molds to japan, so Recaro is not able to produce them into future.

We could take our seats to make a new tool for Recaro, but this will cost us
~ 50000 Euro. We have to pass.

These special NSX-R gearboxes are great, maybe you can see that the 6th gear is changed. (shorter)
Its a special production for Procar.

just out of curiosity, why can't you make a new mold from one of the shells that passes by you? i don't see a problem, is like take a mold of a hood, a wing, etc

Hi, sorry, I dont have had my 2nd cup of coffee into the morning, so I made a mistake telling that story.

Procar cant do that molds, its a very security relevant part, so only Recaro has enough experience to make the new tool.
I can deliver the buckets to Recaro, that means that Recaro will get money for the same job again, because Honda reclaimed all tools.

I know that this happened in year 2006, right after Honda stopped the production.
Thats also an evidence, that Honda will never built seats like that, what is
very shame.
These are the best seats into the world.....some friends do think the same.

we will have a new Procar NA2RR hood spec2 here until middle of next week.
We let go that hood for the price of an spec1 hood as special introduction offer before NSXPO 2007.

Because this new generation is our own creation (no direct copy from NSX-R hood 3D dimensions) that hoods comes with a fitment quarantee.
No alignment is necessary if there are original Honda parts installed around.
(fenders, lights, bumper etc)

Actually we are busy to get some 6 speed lockout boxes first.
These gearboxes are special, because the 6th gear is shorter than JDM NSX-R
version

we still miss the invoice for shipment and custom fees for a total calculation.

Tom, installation guide for the airduct sended.

after thar it should be simple... there is no customs from Germany to Portugal...and the shipping shouldn't be that much
Bo custom fees, thats right.
The gearbox have a lot of weight, this unit only can be shipped into a wooden box from a spediteur via truck from here.

the new Procar NSX-RR spoiler (2nd generation) will be introduced until end of the year.

What do you mean "unicate"
Unicate means that this is the spoiler which was installed at the Tokio motorshow NSX-R. We got that prototype.
No brake light, flat buttom side of the spoiler, exposed cf.

The "2nd generation" i presume will be the adjustable version shown above?
No, the adjustable version will be produced as limited edition of 10 units
for some special customers, as master we will use the unit which
was installed at the 1th prototype NSX-R. (see picture)

The 2nd generation (NSX-RR) spoiler will be an evolution of the existing spoiler. Details and pictures soon.

Hi Detlef,

Would I be right to think that this adjustable spoiler was only produced by Honda for R&D purposes to deliver the best angle for the fixed spoiler? I ask this as the NSX is considered by many to be one of the best balanced cars, so surely obtaining the right angle for the spoiler would maintain the F to R balance of the non NSX-R model as well as inproving the new aero package?

I shall watch with interest for your NSX-RR developments

Also, given some recent comments in another thread, I find it quite amusing how poor the fitment of the OEM hood in the above picture. I'm pleased to say that my Procar hood is easily as good as OEM fitment!

regards, Paul
