    Caveat Emptor!

Procar Specials NSX

I meant a conversion, where you chop the top of a normal coupe, and add the capability of using your fabricated top. I for one would willingly chop mine up to have a chance to go topless being as there aren't many T's for sale here in Japan. I might do it anyways...

I can't imagine anybody stateside doing something like that without reinforcing the car in other areas.
I'm sure you realize that it isn't as easy as just cutting the top off and that is it. SOOOO much more planning and designing goes in to making a car with a removable top. The structural rigidity is compromised.
Quite honestly, that would be a HUGE mistake to do that to a coupe.

Good points.
I missunderstood the question from DJ, sorry.
There is no way for us to do that, because T chassis and coupe chassis are different.

BTW: When you said you were making parts for AMG, did you mean Mercedes AMG outsourced you/hired you as a contractor, or you were just making aftermarket parts for an AMG model Benz?

We dont produce the parts for the standard AMG Mercedes
cars, these are only cf overlays in the most cases.
We do produce some prototypes for the one or other AMG showcar (exhibition cars) but in very small quantity.

some more impressions from today....
These parts made a big upgrade at the Procar NSX interior.
More parts will follow.

today we had the chance to highspeed the Procar NSX.
Seems that this girl had magical hands.
It was a surprise how fast that Procar NSX is now.

We had a short uphill straight at german Autobahn, the NSX runs 290 km/h easily.
The new aerodynamic mods and the 338 HP engine are great upgrades.
Later we had 310 km/h at the speedo but there is a need for a professional vidoe now.
We still have to adjust the shift lights.

Hi Detlef,

Very impressive numbers
Would be very nice if you could do some acceleration numbers and post them here. Do you have a acceleration-measuring device like an AP-22 ??
And of course, if you have a dyno-chart, please also post that. What was done do the engine to reach that 338 HP.

As for the video, it's a bit shaky that's true. I have bought myself one of those suction cup camera-mounts which I can attach to the rear window. Works perfectly for me (after a little modification). Very solid. And with a wide-angle lens you get a good view ahead also.

Did you compare the numbers to the speed measured with the navi? What tire-size are you running in the rear?
