Procar Specials NSX

I don't undrestand what all the fuss is about. You guys know Detlef, and you know his pricing, so there's nothing to be suprised about. It's his parts, and his prices. He is selling them for what he thinks they are worth. I would pay those prices for PERFECT CF pieces, but they would have to be flawless, and from what I understand, his are. If my NSX were a showcar, I'd be bangin' down his door right now. Yes, there are other MUCH cheaper options out there, but in most cases you get what you pay for...

Thats the point, thank you.

I really must say those are some beautiful pieces. Most vendors send me emails asking me to stay off of their threads but I am only sincerely admiring your work. Truly awesome. And considering the quality of carbon fiber and the labor involved in making "perfect" pieces the prices seem to be about right for sale in Japan. hint hint
DJ

Thats a work of art!!

Thanks for the compliments. We are happy that 2 people do like our newest parts

Here are 3 better pictures from the nav pod and the door inserts for RHD, which we produced especially for a very good customer from UK.

(The LHD version of the door inserts is installed at the Procar NSX since last night, 45 minutes are requested for one side. The installation is very easy, because the parts fits 100 %)

For this Price you must have to much Money, maybe it`s not CF, its Gold:tongue:

But I`m Surprised, in Germany he want`s 1500 EUR for a Center Console

So i would pay 500USD, this would be a correct price.

But hey every day, a stupid man wakes up in the Morning

Sooo, why don't you buy a bunch of them, mark them up a little and resell?????
Just out of curiosity, are you calling those that have bought items from him in the past dumb?

Thanks for your nice comment.
If I take a look at your car, I dont expect another response.
What a luck that not all german NSX'ers are thinking like that.

Detief, are the interior pieces (Navi Pod, Center cover, door piece) Dry or Wet carbon?

where in Germany are you guys located? I'm out there ever so often for business and would love to stop by and take a look at your cars and products in person if possible! I'm normally in Frankfurt area and or Geneva.

Beautiful.
Have you compared the weights of your new interior pieces to the stock pieces?

Thanks. There is no significant weight difference

Dry as usual

Near the french boarder and near Luxemburg, Saarbrücken.
Its 120 miles away from Frankfurt airport.

Detlef,
I talked to Sorcery's owner about the carbon parts and he asked what brand you were using. Torray? He also has the mold for the center console but finds the back fitting brackets to be such a pain and really feels that for the work involved, the price is dead on. Not trying to justify to anyone the pricing, just info from another vendor with "above average" pricing and "well above average" quality. I really might be ordering something for my little project car soon. Great work, for real!

No, we use our own stuff.
All material is 'Made in Germany'.

We know that and there is noone at the market who have fixed that problems.
We did it, more pictures will show the installed product soon.

The limited edition of the center console is as good as sold, so we have customers for that worldwide.
We will produce also 4 RHD versions extra for customers in UK and Australia.

No problem...we let the customers take the decision what they wanna buy.
This Superb quality has its price, you cant image how much work is behind each part.....but it makes no fun to explain that all the time.

Great work, for real!
Thanks.
If you ever can see this parts in all details with your own eyes, you will understand. Its a jewel

Best carbon mod ever seen! Pure sex!
If I could justify the money...

Hello.

How much for a set of your CF Door Insert? Do you have these item in stock? and how long is the wait for them to arrive at my door? Thanks

Phuc'

Thanks for the reply and info. Hope to see some of this on my car, Mr. Inoue refuses to do carbon door inserts, but he is working on my center panel so I guess I should be grateful. Maybe after seeing your lovely work it will inspire him:smile:

Have you ever thought about a custom Type-T conversion? Dry or Wet carbon top? Labor wise would probably be about the same work to make as the Type R bonnet. Seems like something you guys could do and do well. And I wouldn't mind chopping the top for an open look at the sky!

Just dreaming out loud.

We have that plan since many years, but found no time to do that until now.
A dry cf T top would be nice, I wonder how much peeple are waiting for such a part. We dont have much NSX Targa's here in germany, so here is not the market.

Because we produce some cf parts for AMG Mercedes, there was a 6 weeks delay for that
parts.
Today we finished these interior cf projects:

Procar Specials
- navigation cf pod with the 2 small covers at the top side,
- cf center console with cf ashtray cover (LHD and RHD)
- inner door cf side plates, they are available for RHD and LHD too

This is finest cf quality, the best at the market

Hope you like it….

Hope we can install the new toys over the next weekend, more pictures soon

OH MY GOD. I love it. Once again, you have made the best CF parts I have seen personally. I would love to buy them, but I don't have cash to burn right now.

BTW: When you said you were making parts for AMG, did you mean Mercedes AMG outsourced you/hired you as a contractor, or you were just making aftermarket parts for an AMG model Benz?

I meant a conversion, where you chop the top of a normal coupe, and add the capability of using your fabricated top. I for one would willingly chop mine up to have a chance to go topless being as there aren't many T's for sale here in Japan. I might do it anyways...
