Does anyone know how many cars they are making the first year? My dealer called me and says we are still no.2 on the list from years ago. Wondering if it will be a hard car to get and command a premium or be a dud. My dealer says his first year allocation is 3 cars.

Drive it? I'm going to the factory in Ohio on May 2nd, to drive it and see the entire build process. I designated myself the NSX sales specialist for our store. Acura mandates that stores that sell over 1000 annual units have 2 designated sales specialists, so I snagged one of our sales reps who is as car crazy as myself. We're getting 4 NSX's, and only 1 or 2 are spoken for. I refuse to sell them over MSRP so anyone looking, feel free to PM ME.

That's really interesting to know! So they are not sold out the first year I guess and there are dealers out there who aren't price gouging. [emoji1417][emoji1417]

Yea, I just ordered our first one today. Blue/saddle with every option and accessory. $206k, sales tax was almost $15k! I'll post here if I have any extra allocated.

Your placed an order with Acura? I was told that, although the configurator is up and dealers can receive orders, Acura is not yet accepting orders from dealers. I was also told that Acura will not begin manufacturing ordered cars until April.

You are incorrect. Deadline for orders, for the first 50 stores getting their cars is 3/4.

Fascinating. I have received different information from two different sources. Have you been told when Acura will begin building cars?
