A Pre-NSXPO tent party will be held Oct. 3rd from 4 pm till 8 pm at Ray Laks Acura 7460 Transit Road(Route78) Williamsville NY. They will be serving chicken wings and beef on weck. The front parking lot will be for NSX parking only A block of rooms will be reserved at $89.00 at The Garden Place Hotel using Ray Laks Acura name. The hotel is located 1 mile South of the tent party. They promised to have a area coned off for NSX parking only. Make your reservations asap as it is a very popular place. The phone # is 716-635-9000 or 1-800-Garden-1 You can check out their web site at www.salvatores.net. The hotel is located at exit 49 on Interstate 90. All you Canadians that have to drive through Buffalo are more than welcome to join us for the party and caravan the next day. I need a list for tee shirts. The cut off date will be Sept. 10 2007

Mike Perry (General Manager) at Ray Laks has advised there will be a bucket and hose at the back of the building to remove road grime and bugs. Also snow and salt if needed !! (I'm kidding)

The Garden Place is sold out, but after having seen Bob's photos, we decided to stay at the Marriott Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel (we can use points). We'll be arriving on Monday. :biggrin:

Crossing my fingers to get that week but its going to be hard with bow hunting season starting around that time.

Since a number of us will be staying in Niagara Falls, how will we meet on Thursday to caravan to Ohio? From Google Earth, it looks a little out of the way for us to meet at Ray Laks, however, it may make it simpler to do so.

Any thoughts?

What route are you folks taking from Buffalo? I live down near where I-79 intersects I-70 and I-70 runs directly to Columbus. I am already planning to meet one other car somewhere south of Pittsburgh. If you are following this route I would like to know.

It will be dream come true - the most NSXs I have every managed to get together in one spot at one time in Australia is 13.......but they only sold 130 of them, so that was a pretty good turn out!

We should be leaving Exit 49 at 10:00am. When you go over the Peace Bridge take the 190 South approx. 8 miles-- to the 90 West approx.10 miles-- go through the toll booths at exit 55. There will be a place on the right to pull over. We should be there by 10:15-10:20. That way you will not have to back track to exit 49. When you clear the Peace Bridge you should be about 20 minutes from the toll booths. Hopefully we'll see you there.

You are staying at Garden Place which is at exit 49. When we leave there, we'll be heading West towards exit 55 toll booths. That's where we should meet up with the CND group. I know "clear as mud". By the way, I am with your group:biggrin: at exit 49. I'll explain it to you at the party

WOW! I did not see this thread before. Guys, I'm a local NSX owner (94 Brookland Green bought in Feb this year). Live 10 miles from Ray laks and work a mile away from there. I cannot attend NSXPO this time but would love to attend this meet at Ray Laks.

The hotel is beautiful. I'm sure you'll like it. Please let me know what you guys would like to do around here in Buffalo and let me be your guide. There are two nice casinos on Canadian and US side. On US side, the drinks are free but casino is smoke friendly. From Ray Laks, falls is 30 mins ride. If you want to go for Boat ride, you'll have to be there by 5:30pm I think. I will double check but they close early after labor day weekend. Till that day they operate till 9:00 pm.

About food, US side casino has very good Italian restaurant, Asian restaurant, very good buffet, and 24 hrs dinner and their own parking garage (either valet or park your own - I always park myself). There are lot of other very good restaurants in Buffalo areas as well.

As far as place to meet, there is a big mall right across Ray Laks. You can meet there with other group if they can make it. That way you would not have to meet them on the side of the freeway. The parking section across Ray laks in that mall is usually empty since they built "Galleria Mall" nearby. That mall is huge and a must visit for anyone who does not live near New York City. What else? Ask me if you have any questions and I'd be glad to help you all!!!!!!
