Post pics of your watches!

I'm not much for taking pics so here is a list of what I own:
Breitling:
Crosswind. two tone
Superocean Professional
Evo. Black MOP limited edition
Bentley Motors
Tutima GMT
Tag chrono (bought ages ago. don't remember the exact model)
Shellman. Grand Complecation

I Love Watches with HERITAGE/ HISTORY to their branding. Size wise, I like 44 mm. and up to 48 mm. After wearing big face watches, is hard to wear a 39 mm. watch now. Those who know me, know i have passion for watches. I just bought a new white band Casio G-Shock with Multi-Color Bezel. It looks like a titanium burnt color. Maybe one day i will be able to buy an A.P. ROO.

I saw a Porsche watch for $150,000 in Excellence magazine I am assuming its misprint. Currently have the Omega seamaster JB. Love watchs cars and sun glasses.

There are several watchs on my wishlist.

1. Breitling Cosmonaut (First watch worn in space 1962 Astronaut Scott Carpenter Aurora 7)

2. Omega Speedmaster (The Omega Speedmaster was the first watch worn on the moon, as Buzz Aldrin wore his Speedmaster 145.012 fitted with the Omega 321 caliber on 20 July 1969. (Neil Armstrong left his Speedmaster inside the landing module "Eagle" during his famous first walk). Note this was not an automatic movement.

3. Rolex Submariner

I just bought a new white band Casio G-Shock with Multi-Color Bezel.

Hmmm... after reading about all these watches, I got a craving again for the pink Baby-G I spotted at the PX a while back.
I almost bought it last week but opted out. I talked myself into it last night and was coming on to post a big, "Well, thanks a lot guys. Now, I'm looking at watches too." LOL!!

I get here and see your post.
Very cool.
I like the white.

The one I'm going to pick up tomorrow is a bit smaller and is the women's Jelly line... but still has a lot of nice features. Glad to see someone else likes the G-shock as well.

I got a G shock for one of my ex' back in da day. it had a dj, break dancer and a record being thrown across the screen. Was pretty cool.
If i was you, i would look for a G Shock that dont have black digital numbers...look for the ones that are in orange, green or pink. Those are worth getting cuz is unique.

My Suunto T6 had a built in thermometer, the problem is the watch would absorb body heat, so if you wanted the actual outdoor temperature, you had to take it off your wrist and let it sit for 30 minutes or so. Pretty much rendered that feature worthless.

I would think that they would have solved that problem...that's pretty lame.

I think it's mainly for diving and water temp though.

G-shock. 8 years old. Held up to an IED blast, had it on when it happened, still ticking. best investment for $50 bucks.

Nice watch. I stopped by the dealer last week and they had the new Rolex President Date Day Just that was rose colored...very nice. It's not yellow like the other 18K bands but has a nice redish tint to it.

My current one that I may trade is a Date Just with diamonds on the bezel. Where did you buy it? I may have to sell my coin collection to buy this President. Anyone interested in Gold St Gaudens $ 20 coin and other assorted MS 65 coins...he he.

It's probably the white gold president. Other metal elements (I think silver and palladium) were mixed with the gold to take out the yellow color, and the end result is a silver color with some kind of reddish tone. Love those President Day Date (in white gold or platinum)

Unlikely

It is probably rose gold

I have:

A Bulgari Assioma in Rose Gold #141 of 200 its kind of big 44 2008:eek:
A Bulgari Bulgari with yellow gold bezel and 2 toned bracelet with yellow gold bars between the links. 2002  (bought it at the Peninsula Hotel in HK)
A Tissot Chronograph from Prauge
A Rado DiaStar 1999:tongue:
A Movado (not sure of the model) my first "nice watch" 1992
A Citizen Elegance (my first non plastic watch) 1988:biggrin:

I don't have pics, but probably should considering how expensive the Bulgaris are.

Most of my business associates have Rolex, that is why I dont have any.

If you are hard on watches, I recommend the Rado. They are made out of ceramics that cannot be scratched. The face is also non scratchable. I have worn this elegant watch while I was remodeling my house, and it didn't get 1 scratch on it. It still looks new. Thet can also be worn through metal detectors, and they don't set the alarm off, because they aren't metal.

My wife has:

A blue face Rolex Oyster Perpetual with diamonds on the numbers and a SS bracelet.
An Omega Contellation with 2 toned bracelet, and diamond bezel and diamond face.
3 Burbury watches.
2 Raymond Weil

Watches are what you buy when you have saved enough money for retirement, you have other assets, and you really have nothing better to do with your money.

If you are buying expensive watches to impress other people, and you are renting your house or apartment, get real, and start to be responsible.:frown:

I can't believe no one has a Bell & Ross! My dream watch is the BR01-92 Orange. Matches my Imola...haha. I'll keep dreaming about it till I can afford it...for now my copy will do.

Re: my first big-boy watch

I am not a watch person by any means, but I just picked up one of these...

I'm typically not a fan of "square" watches but that thing is b-e-a-utiful!

Tag makes some of the most ascetically pleasing watches for relatively reasonable prices.

I could liberate this thread from off topic with this:wink:

Some REALLY Beautiful watches in this thread- especially that TAG Monaco... Gorgeous.

I have a Citizen Pro Master I bought back in 1999 or so. Yellow face on it. I think it ran me $250 or so after I bargained with the jeweler a bit.

(sorry no pic)

It has been 10 years, and the watch has been great. I retired it for a bit and wore a square faced Fossil for a few years, but have since replaced the battery in the Cit, and have been wearing it again for the last year or so. I have always preferred chronograph watches. That is what I learned to tell time on, so that is what i am most comfortable with.

I have been looking at a Nixon for a while now. Might pull the trigger on it for my birthday this year.

I have a hard time justifying over $300 for a watch, but that is just my budget and I have other things to spend money on now...
