Pictures from 7000km in the NSX

Hi

I will post some pictures from my holiday. I think some of them are nice. I drove about 7000km with my NSX. From Narvik in Norway to Zurich and home again. With some stops here and there.

This first picture is from the garage where my brother parks his car. It is in Oslo after driving about 1500km from Narvik.

He owns the Carrera 4 behind my NSX. Nice car. We took it for a test drive and it felt a little bit quicker because of the 4wd. Other than that I only liked the color

Second photo is from the the track we went to with our bikes. Not a NSX in the picture but it is behind me somewhere

My bike is the second green on the left. We had 2 days on the track. I had Metzler Rennsport on and they where great. I had a few slides but nothing major. Had a lot of fun. Learned alot from the instructors and also about myself and how I react to stress and tension.

Drink alot of water and drive into the pits when you start to make mistakes on the track. Do not try to stay with guys that are faster because you will end up in the kitty litter. I stayed on the wheels and had only one bad experience where I went of the track..I braked and braked and did not want to go off the brake. That ment that I did not want to turn either so I run of the track instead. Lucky me..the road into the pits where there so I just went throug the pits and out again

Third picture.

We left the bikes in Oslo and drove onto the ferry from Oslo to Fredrikshavn in Denmark. We packed what we really needed and left other things at home.

We had a tent & sleepingbags with us and also two helmets for driving on the Nurburgring. So it got a bit tight back there

On the ferry I stayed with the car to see who parked besides it.

It was a mom with his young son.. He was amazed about the NSX. I told him to be very carefull when opening his door so he did not hit my car. He was very carefull.

Me and Bjørnar then went for beers. We where tired after driving hard on the track that day with our bikes.

The next morning we drove throug Denmark down to Assen in The Netherlands.

On the picture you can see the big tent we had You can clearly see that I had used all my money on the car and bought the cheapest tent I could find

We had a great time in Assen. Aboout 150.000 people where there to watch the Moto GP. Lot of crazy partying everywhere.

We where out driving in Assen too. Found this Crossfire outside a motorcycle shop..

This picture was from the track. Lot of people as you can see. The noise was just amazing from the Moto GP bikes. Everyone was standing when they came past us.

We stayed in Assen from thursday until sunday. Then we drove down to Sinsheim in Germany.

We stayed at the Bear hotel and I thought this picture was nice

We where there to have a look at the museum there.

Somebody had parked there planes on top of the museum

One Concorde and one Tupolev (Concordski) and some other planes too

Then inside the Auto & Technik Museum there where a lot of pictures of Ayrton Senna. Here are some of them

Ayrton Senna...one of the best for sure

They had a lot of nice cars there. Here is a Porsche 959..it is one of 230 cars in the world

Here is a american Vector. I am not sure how many where produced..but I remember reading an article about it many many years ago.

Really nice. They also had a DeLorean there but I forgot to look at it. It was up on the wall somewhere..also a F40 and a lot of other things

aah. Sounds like a lovely trip. I was in Holland/Belgium recently. Spent most of my time in hedonistic Amsterdam and on the coast.

Man do I envy you the road trip. On an NSX, no less!

I love these detailed photo trips. Makes me feel like I am traveling along with you (while earning my bread at work in san jose )

Then we went bathing and the next day we went to Speyer to look at the museum there.

Then to Hockenheim Ring to look at the museum there.

Not so big but they had a lot NSU race bikes and also some nice cars

I saw one of these BMW's on the Ring last year..they are my favorite BMW I must say.

Then we drove around Heidelberg some and I think we drove some of the nice countryroads there that we talked about in the Europe section here..then we headed south to Zurich in Switzerland.

There we ate lunch with a friend of mine. His boss had a nice Elise

These guys was not the busiest workers I have seen. This is from downtown Zurich.

Everyone stopped working when I took this picture...I can understand that because it was 2-3 really nice looking girls walking by just then.

Then I met up with Gheba_NSX and his lovely black NSX.

Really liked the wheels on it. More pictures to come..

We drove for a little while to find a place to eat.. Had my friend take some photos while we drove.

It was really fun. I had my window open and could here the sound of his Tubi when he throttled on..then I "answerd" with my Tubi. We where just like to schoolboys with our toys
