Really hoping I get the chance to take that journey

Double the power of the NSX like what I did and the smile is even larger and it helps suppress the desire for an entry level P, F, or L car.....
lmao!!!suppression of symptoms is all well and good... But there's nothing other than getting the other car to serve as a cure..
My nsx is pretty much stoopid fast... But it "ain't no fgt"
I got a TT nsx as a DD, and a rossion q1 for fun. The nsx is probably as fast, maybe a bit faster now from a roll, but the q1 seems a bit more fun to drive because of its light weight. Just loves to corner, and the engine really sounds at home between 4K and 6K rpm...nsx not so much, just seems to strain at 5K and up.
Just my two cents but from an engineering stand point the driver is the weak link in the equation when it comes to designing a car (sports car in particular). That's why pretty much every super car built today has a PDK transmission and enough computing power to do a mission to Mars.
exactly. and mission to Mars are almost a straight line just like many of these videos on Youtube. Take a lesson or two from Billy and you'll be much faster w/o letting the PDK having all the fun and not you.
Over the weekend I drove a 2013 GTR black series on loan from a buddy. Probably one of the worst weekends since it rained quite a bit so that meant windows up driving. I was in crutches from a b-ball injury so decided to turn the radio down for some peace/quiet and amazed the noises I heard.
Yes we all know how fast the GTR is but this thing makes a lot of noises that normal "sane" people like my wife would think something is broken for sure. I know the GTR is all mighty and has a fan base but man if I was going to spend this kind of cash, it would NEVER be for a GTR.
This thing feels cheap and comparing it to a Porsche would be just insane. The fit/fitment and quality of the P-car is not even comparable. Driving feel is pretty good and taking freeway sweepers is a lot of fun. The car seems to have infinite grip and accelerates hard. The info-electronics are also pretty cool.
When I gave the keys back to him - he asked what I thought and I only told him "not bad". Didn't want to make him feel bad but this is not an impressive car. If you only care about speed then this car might work. The rear end is pretty menacing I have to agree but otherwise it's pretty bland.
Glad I picked a different car.
^I'm not sure if your response is directed at me or just in "general"?
I have driven the car plenty of times if you read my post. I'm not bashing the car but just posting my thoughts. If you like the GTR great
i was quoting your point of "feeling cheap" compared to the P-car
My 2 cents, if I had to pick between a P-car and a GTR, it's no contest. GTR every day.
Just a lot more exotic and special IMO.
Which P-car are u talking about? there's A LOT to choose from the list.
