Hey everyone. I just wanted to get everyone's opinion or reaction to the ARC Induction Box. I purchased one from SOS a few months back and currently have it installed on my car, but I haven't really thought too much about it's effects, whether they be positive or negative. I USED to have an OEM Intake Box w/ a OEM Replacement K&N Filter. Guys?

Also, Does anyone know at what intervals the ARC Induction Box filter should be replaced? AND, Are you supposed to replace the filter, or clean it? And if you are to clean it, with what are you supposed to clean it with and where would you get that stuff at? And if you are to replace it, where would you get a replacement filter, and how much are they price wise?

These are questions you should be asking Chris @ SoS.

When you get the answers be sure to post them for all of us. Good Luck.

Actually, I do NOT want to ask Chris, as his point of view would be at the very least, partially biased. I want the POV of real world people who bought the product and are now using. A vendor would never give you a totally unbiased POV. Especially when they sell the item. Why would you potentially bad mouth your own product line?

I think Richard is referring to the technical questions.

The ARC box uses a paper medium filter. It is not reusable in the same way that a gauze or foam filter can be reused. You can prolong it's life by removing and blowing debris off.

Change intervals should be the same as the stock unit, if not more often. There are no published change intervals from ARC.

Cheers,
-- Chris

Hey Chris. Do you sell replacement ARC Induction Box filters, and if so, how much are they, are they in stock, and how would I go about ordering them if they do not appear on your website for sale to the general public? Shawn

We run the ARC Airbox on our CTSC NSX, no real noticable hp gain. However, on the NA car it sounded great! We replaced the filter after 15k.
