I just had the worst night of my life.
AS I was backing up to go to dinner ,I ran into my girlfriends Rodeo.I heard the right quarter clunk but when i looked there was no chip in the paint. The problem is it put a small 6in crease in the quarter. Its hard to see because my car is yellow but since I know its there its driving me nuts!!Is this something that a bodyshop can remove without repainting(after all,the paint is fine.)

I've had great success with places like "Dent Wizard" - basically if the paint is OK they've managed to massage all kinds of dents / creases from my cars.

I've never used them on the NSX though, so don't know if it would pose a special challenge. You may want to give them a call.

i second Dent Wizard. they are the best. there is also Dent Pro but they suck. Just call them and make an appointment and they will come straight to your house and do it. They remove all door dings too!

I have had several dents removed through the paintless dent removal process, with varying results. However, I have no experience with the process on an NSX. I will say this without doubt -- the right person can work miracles -- I mean PERFECTION -- and I am about as picky as they come. I had a 94 Legend Coupe, dark green, that was really banged up in a freak hail storm. I was very skeptical about whether or not it could be fixed, but it was, and perfectly. Here is the big question that you MUST get an answer to before you allow anybody to touch your car: Do you have experience working with the type of heat-hardened aluminum that makes up the NSX's body? I asked a paintless dent guy that I trust about this one time, and he said I should be very cautious. Ask around.

Thanks for all the info guys. There is a paintless dent removal place not far from here so Ill call them in the morning and see if they can handle this.

just some tips for you:
when they get to your house and give you a estimate, you can bargain it down a lot. tell them you will pay CASH. my estimate a while ago went out to be about 350 for a S500 and a prelude. i talked it down to $160, CASH.

I just had my NSX at Dent Wizard this morning. I had a coupe small dings that have been bothering me. It cost $100 to do a small one on the door, and $175 for a hard to notice crease behind the right rear wheel. So far it looks like they did a great job. They wouldn't budge AT ALL on the price though. They didn't care whether I paid card, cash, check... all the same.
It sucks I had to pay for someone else's screw ups, but I'd rather have a clean car. Damn those deductibles.

Seems only reason we even have insurance is for major accidents or theft.

No good at all for minor repairs... not worth the hike in rate.

Actually, the major accidents or theft are the BEST reason for insurance.

But if you really want your insurance to pay for the small stuff, you can have your insurance company lower your deductibles. Of course, you'll pay more for that. You get what you pay for.
