OK guys and gals, let's get started... gonna be an interesting year!
I asked this question last year... and here it is again:
Will it be championship #8 for Lewis?????
H-

I personally think he has aged out of hammer time...he can still win races, but I don't see him as WC...I do think we will see him clash with Leclerc, despite his maturity....unless all of this has been agreed to behind closed doors, and Lewis is there for the "other" partnership opportunities.

Yes Harry, I think LH is in for a 8th WC this year....having said that I have been wrong the past two years.

McLearn look very strong, RB is dead as there Ace designer is gone.

Lewis glory days are behind him. Turn 4 ended his winning ways. Will he win some races? Don't know only time will tell. It seems Ferrari is using him as a money making machine. That all said, I wish him the very best.

It's hard to predict. After test's we will be smarter.I would rather see Alonso or Max as WDC.
Hope to watch 3-4 teams with very tied cars fight for the championship.

^ as above - we’ll see a clearer picture after the pre-season testing. I think that there could be up to 7 drivers in with a chance of the WDC, and 3 teams for the WCC.
Wildcard for me is Sainz for Williams, as well as a few others. Maybe this year will have the most number of different drivers on the podium ever.
As this is the final season for this rule set, the cars will be (possibly) closer in performance than in previous years - let’s hope that makes for close, exciting racing!

Hamilton is still capable of winning it...with the dominant enough car. Same goes for Verstappen & Alonso. They all have the fight in them to do it and they make very few mistakes, but the development of the car will decide what the outcome is. The 'other' guys, Leclerc, Russell & Norris are fast but falter more than they should.
It's going to be an exciting year for sure and I'm really interested to see how the new driver pairings do and what it says about them:

Verstappen/Lawson: Will Lawson show up as someone who can tame the 2nd car or struggle and wither away like the handful before him? Lots of fans and pundits like to claim Verstappen doesn't want any competition in the 2nd seat so it would be nice to see an actual equal pairing at RBR since we haven't seen that in a long time...

Russell/Antonelli: is Antonelli really the next Verstappen? It will be an interesting dynamic at Merc. Russell's head has gotten quite big, especially after beating Hamilton. With so much in the news about Toto courting Max, then finally signing Kimi and hailing him as the next prodigy, I'm sure Russell is eager to prove he's the #1 of the team.

Hamilton/Leclerc: Is Hamilton going to show that he's not done winning or will a failure at the team see him seek retirement. Leclerc is undoubtedly the favorite in 25 due to his experience with the team, but i think most people know that Leclerc is soft compared to Hamilton. Leclerc has shown that he's too nice and gets walked all over because of it. Hamilton will gladly take the top spot on the team (if he doesn't have it already) but he needs the car to do it. Hamilton famously boasted that Mercedes doesn't make mistakes. How will he get on with Ferrari and their mistakes?

Actually I think the "personality" of Italy will gel nicely with that of Hamo..

Its reported that lewis hit a bump in the track that caused the crash. I guess Dakar isn't on his must do list, unlike Fernando Alonso finished 13th in the 2020 Dakar Rally, competing with a Toyota Hilux, despite experiencing a couple of crashes during the race; he has expressed a strong desire to compete in the Dakar again and considers winning it a high priority for him.

Wonder whose RHD car that is? I don’t think either driver was born when the car was produced.
It’s Honda UK’s NA1 from their Heritage Collection - a very early automatic if i remember correctly. It appears in quite a few YouTube videos as Honda does loan it to ”journalistis”. Also in the collection is an 02+ NA2 in New Imola Orange Pearl, which has had an amount of “restoration” after being enthusiastically used by journalists (backwards through a hedge (allegedly)

Wild weather here in Australia - hot to cold in less than 24 hours with added rain.
McLaren should have had a 1-2, but Piastri had no luck. Max was well beaten before Alonso’s crash and the resulting safety car brought him back into contention.
George ran his own race for a solid P3, and Antonelli lucked into being P5.
Best of the day from Alex Albon, keeping it on the road for an excellent P4 for Williams.
Ferrari were never looking like a podium - good that they got points.
Haas clearly at the back of the field. Rookies were a mixed bag to say the least!
Entertaining race, incident packed - hope for more next weekend in China.

Ferrari will never as long as they DEI people, plus they get special funding from the FIA that basically pays their F1 budget. McLarens are being gifted so they can get more sponsor money. Alpine will be sold at some point. Williams is hanging in there. Only Mercedes and Red Bull have proper funding. Finally since the regs change next year, all teams are looking at next year.

Can you explain? Perhaps it is the st Patrick’s whiskey, but nothing here makes sense.
