"OEM" Sway bars

I'm thinking about a new set of sway bars for my '91. All the aftermarket bars I've seen use polyurethane bushings, which I've had before and find the constant maintenence (and noise) annoying. Poly squeek is a personal pet peeve

Now, I've seen the 22.2mm NSX-R front bar, which uses rubber bushings. By itself, I would think this would cause some pretty rude understeer. I happened across the info on the '99 Zenardi editions, which have a larger factory rear bar (19.1mm with 3.0mm wall thickness, vs. 17.5mm x 2.3mm for factory). This setup sounds like it'd be fairly balanced, use the quiet rubber bushings, and even costs less (Front $109 from SOS, rear $80.50 including bushings from Del Ray Acura, $190ish plus assorted shipping) then aftermarket.

Thoughts? Ideas? Anyone ever actually try this setup?

I think that setup may work - to reduce roll and keep the understeer in the car. Some of the more technical or track guys would have better feedback. You probably already know that handling is due to the net effect of several items such as wheel/tire size, spring rates, shock rates, alignment etc.

I have the rear Zanardi bar on my '92 NSX with the stock (smaller diameter) OEM bar on the front. As it sits, the rear bar is stiffer than the front. This works for me right now because I wanted to add some oversteer back to the car.
I came to this decision b/c my wheel/tire/alignment/sway bar setup had excessive understeer on the street.

As far as prices: Double check that price on the Zanardi rear bar - that sounds like the price for the regular 97+ bar. The Zanardi rear bar should be in the $100-$140 range. If not, you are getting a great deal.

I ditched the poly bushings, and instead opted for Mark's aluminum sway bushings, with integrated Zerk fittings for easy maintenance. Great product, no noise.
