Every NSXPO features a Concours d' Elegance competition as part of the agenda of events. NSXPO 2013 is no exception. As an incentive to get those NSXCA members attending to get the buffers out, we are teasing with a few photos of the Concours trophies. There will be a total of 10 awards. All categories will receive the same size and style trophy as pictured. The 10 categories have not been finalized, but as soon as they are, we will notify everyone. Take a look!

1) Best NSX - any year - under 25k miles or trailered to NSXPO
2) Best NSX - any year - 25k to 100k miles
3) Best NSX - any year - over 100k miles
4) Best first year NSX
5) Best NA1 NSX - stock condition
6) Best NA2 NSX - stock condition
7) Best NSX - any year - lightly modified
8) Best NSX - any year - heavy modified
9) Best Repaint - any year
10) Longest Distance driven to NSXPO

Oh, and my personal favorite - Best 1999 Black/Black NSX with TSW wheels/Continental Tires and Borla exhaust.

Best Canadian car...............??
Best Chick's car?

Aw, the award for highest mile NSX in attendance is gone? That was my favorite.

Hey Rog.........just in front of your 4th!

How about Best Imola that's actually driven regularly?

Off the trailer. IMO trailering the car is missing one of the best parts of the event which is driving to the event. It should be an adventure and the car was built for this.

So, to be fair, you'd need one for each of the colors, LBBP, White, black, red, monaco, spa yellow, etc. I mean they're all special, not just Imola!!!

I agree 100%. If I had the cash and a warehouse I'd own one of each. And drive all of them.

Just a few thoughts:

1) Best NSX - any year - under 25k miles or trailered to NSXPO
2) Best NSX - any year - 25k to 100k miles
3) Best NSX - any year - over 100k miles
4) Best first year NSX
5) Best pre-2002 NSX - stock condition
6) Best 2002+ NSX - stock condition
7) Best NSX - any year - track modified
8) Best NSX - any year - show modified
9) Best Repaint - any year
10) Longest Distance driven to NSXPO

Seems odd to me that you would separate at 1996 and 1997, when they are essentially identical years. My guess is you were going for the 2002 change rather than the Na1/Na2 change.

I also thought it might be neat to distinguish between cars that are modded for form and cars that are modded for function.

Just my 2 cents.

Either way you are going to have to establish some good criteria to discriminate between "lightly vs heavy" or "form vs function". I wouldn't want to be a judge!
