NSXPO 2010 - LA to Vegas Caravan!

I would like to join the group depending on the departure time. I would prefer a late Wednesday night run as opposed to an early Thursday a.m. run. That way I can wash my car early Thursday a.m. and be ready for the festivities.

Sounds good, this thread will be updated and whatever the majority chooses is when we will leave.
 
If anything we are gonna have to finalize a month or two before so people, like myself, will have enough time to take some days off depending on when we leave to Vegas and when we decide to come back

I am trying to figure out what the event schedule is. The Official NSXPO thread shows...

  • Poker tournament

But the Car Corral Thread shows an 11-5 event at Findlay Acura...what is the REAL story here? :confused:

Okay I believe the plan is to skip early registration. I was at the MFest forum and saw how they plan a trip from SOCAL to Las Vegas and would figure it out like this. For those that want to plan on making a caravan then we can do a meet spot for everyone in SOCAL to meet up. However, if y'all want, we can do it like this...Whoever is near each other can meet up to caravan to BARSTOW, CA which will be the initial desitination meet gathering to get ALL caravans from different areas of SOCAL to meet there and then from BARSTOW, CA we make it a nice road trip east to LV. How's that sound? Just making a suggestion on caravaning tips. Anyone opposes to this, I don't mind. I'm just saying...BTW, whoever plans on going to NSXPO should get their car shiny'd up and fixed up and/or modded for the big couple days. I still need to check out the upholstery shops...(@JCC where you at!?) Anyway, what's everyone think of that? Skipping the early registration would work best for me on my schedule. I don't know how many people are against that but from the looks of it we can skip the early registration. Plus we should all plan to stay at the same hotel if anything, maybe get a good group rate. It's 5 months from now, so let's start on this planning agenda...:tongue:

Sounds like a good plan to me. Id assume that the only parking lot big enough to have enough space is at the outlets. Anyone here from the Chino Hills area? We can caravan over to Barstow. BTW, can anyone recommend a paint/body shop? My NSX needs some new paint, it wasnt in the best condition when I bought it.
