NSX scale models

Anyone here buy the Autographed 1:43 Zanardi on Ebay?

Shawn?

2x Autoart 1:18 NSX, the one with white wheels belongs to my friend. We rapainted the wheels and mirrors to make it look more like the oem 02+ NSX-R.

Nope, not me. I was on a tradeshow floor and totally forgot that the auction was ending that day.

Whomever picked it up got a good deal. I was preparing for a 1k spend.

i'm currently bidding on one on ebay now. auction doesn't end for 4 days.
wish me luck!

Pardon me if this was discussed in other threads already.

In looking at the listing, it says it's from an estate sale.

He has a few other rare items up for sale too.

Whoever owned them before clearly was an enthusiast, and likely a Prime member.

The fact that he has the black book, and the hexagonal paperweight probably means the person was an old timer, in the community since the late '90s or earlier, and has been to Japan/NSX Fiesta to have the Zanardi model signed and picked up other Japanese memoribilia (as stated in the listing). The NSXCA crystals I remember were marketed and sold through Prime in the 2003 timeframe:

Anyone know who these items belonged to? Such a person would likely have been pretty active on Prime. Has one of our own silently passed on? :(

Hi folks.... just wondering if anyone here can compare the quality of the 1/18 models out there: the Revell, Kyosho, and the AutoArt. Any insight is appreciated. thx!

The AutoArt model in, whichever color, is by far the best 1/18 model of the NSX. In fact, it's close to some professional model builds that I've seen.

AutoArt: Tops!

Kyosho: Very nice, but lacks some details...an AutoArt knock-off

Revell: Decent for display, has minimal detail...a Kyosho knock-off

:D

Just found it right after I posted...but Thanks for the link!

Got these two today. Looking at youtube for painting tips.

Thanks guys but I had them built by a scale modeler (not pro) but he builds quite a few model cars for a hobby
(I guess he is a pro modeler now since he was compensated for his work)

The Castrol NSX actually came out very nice
