I would buy from these from ebay if you couldn't find them from your local diecast shop. HPI sells them for $100 so that is the initial price. I don't like buying online so I am waiting til I travel to Hong Kong or Japan and buy one from the local shops there just for the experience.

It even came with a little AutoArt eyeglass wipe and small magnifying glass to look at all the detail. Quality is a lot better than my $80 1:18 AutoArt MR2 Spyder.

^ Yep, there are always going to be a small flaw with any of these reproduction models. However, what I really like about these new HPI models is the fact is there is hardly any wheel gap and the wheels are fairly flush to the fenders. My car looks like that in real life, and this is the reason why I picked up this new HPI.

Bigger wheels are universal in almost every 1/43 scale NSX model that I've seen from Ebbro, HPI, Nikko, Kyosho, and AutoOrbit. In fact, the only accurate wheel size I've seen was from Provence Moulage and that's a an actual kit needing assembly. The bigger wheel syndrome among 1/43 cars isn't a exclusive to the NSX.
 
Man, some good looking models have become available recently. I've taken a break from collecting for a bit, but need to step my game up again. :biggrin:

Just when I thought I had all the HPIs, they come out with a few more...Hope they'll come out with a GPW early coupe, and a '02+ Silverstone. :)

Ha! I know exactly what you mean. I count 4 that I don't have now. Which is just over $400 my wife is going to frown at me "investing."

FWIW, I know they're working on the '95 GT1 LeMans Turbo NSX but I don't know when that'll be released.
 
Here are mine which I bought from Walmart and it costs only $10 each.I felt bad that I bought only two.It was a clearance.I had never seen any more at the store.

My Mattel Hot Wheels 1:64 2001 NSX Collection

I am not sure what racing version NSX model they used. I wish they used a stock version though.
I know none of these are rare but that is beauty of Hot Wheels. For just a $1 and change, any kid can have their own NSX car to play with just by going the toy section of their local store. They are easy to store since they are so small, yet quite detailed with the engine and interior.
