I had to bump this thread because I just spent the day with a caymen S.I was instructing a student all day with an 08..It very much is a german nsx.Any nsx owner could easily feel comfortable in it.The stock suspension is set up more twords track performance than the oem nsx though. He had some sport exhaust which made it sound kinda like a cup car.My only complaint is my pet peeve with porsches in general, the dash is too high.
+a bunch... Love the Cayman, it is a great car. I love that stock suspension on the Cayman. Part of why I like the aftermarket setups for the NSX is I felt stock was a bit too soft - its too bad Honda didnt offer a "sport" suspension for the US (outside of the Zanardi)
If I didnt have passion for the NSX, and the 996Ts didnt have such horrific resale value (making them SO tempting used ), the Cayman would almost certainly lure me away from the 911.
