You're just getting to the sweet spot. :D

They'll last longer than you think. But then again, what kind of surface are you racing on? That can make a BIG difference in tire wear.

We run on asphalt that's in good condition.

The oversteer problem I used to have is manageable now. I need to learn to roll the throttle on gently though, this particular course ended in a long straight and I was anxious to get my foot in it exiting the last corner. I spun the tires slightly each time.

Odd as it seems, looking ahead on the course really helps that problem. Since we only have a few tries to learn a corner, looking ahead to next turn or straight usually tells you how much power and when you can apply it in this turn. As long as you keep your focus well out front of the car and don't think of the accellerator as an on-off switch, the theory is you'll be a lot smoother.

At least that's what I've been told and it's what I'm working towards.:cool:
