Crew!
NSteXpo 2003 was a lot of fun! I flew down for the weekend and enjoyed the dyno day (Boostzilla is very cool!) and the dinner w/40+ NSXers. Great people, good times.
Pics and a review of the weekend are on the site under "The Latest"
Interestingly enough, this was a "local group only" event, not sponsored by or even acknowledged by the NSXCA. There were a number of non-members there that weren't even asked to join.
Now I'm not sure of any politics going on, but IMO any time 2 or more NSXs are getting together, the NSXCA should sanction it. There are easy ways to have member and non-member pricing for event activities and avoid any non-profit tax issues.
I want all of us, members or no, to be able to participate in every local event. The national NSXPO event requires membership, which they should, but local groups shouldn't. They should TELL every NSX owner about membership and the fact that even if they just join for the magazine, their funds are going to the national promotion of the NSX, which is good for everyone.
Just my two cents.
