Looks great!

Toss those General Exclaims when they start to get low. I almost smashed my nsx into some barriers at 30 mph crusing through some hills, completely non aggressive. Then I almost hydroplaned off a cliff coming down a mountain pass (altamont) at 65 mph, then 55 mph. I could barely do 50 mph in a straight line. I was just trying to get home alive. The rears will give way obviously since they will be the first to wear out.

However when they're fairly new, they are AWESOME in the rain. 85 mph just blasting through standing water. Fantastic in the rain on colorado roads.

Be careful once you get to ~1/3 tread anywhere on the tire. I know rain is a huge issue as a colorado nsx owner. The only time of year we get to drive it hard and it rains every afternoon for an hour or so.

From the looks of it, you're running 215/265. Other brands of tires are constructed wider, so when you change tires, the tires will physically be larger in width even though it's the same size printed on the sidewall. So the stretch will go away with another brand of tire.

Oh and MORE PICTURES! :)

thanks for the advice, i rarely drive my car so the tread wear is very minimal . I think the first thing i gotta do is get a camber kit but other goodies are on way first.

I hope clear bra is on the list. Your car is gorgeous right now. My car went from 95% perfect paint to grey salt and pepper in the <2 months I had it in colorado. To do it right, you're going to need to do the entire hood and all the paint from the middle of the front tires forward. Then the rear spats. And mirrors.

I'm running the General Exlaims and haven't had any problems yet..

What tires are you running that don't cost $1500 for a set? My current tires were about $650 for a set.

Well I'm an EXTREMELY good shopper when it comes to tires for the nsx. Other than my first set of tires I bought for the car (general exclaim uhp $500 set), I have never paid more than 1/4 of retail pricing per tire, Dunlops, yokos, bridgestone RE-01R, Falken..... Just smart shopping when I see a killer deal I buy it and toss it in storage, not old age stuff either, brand new clearance, mispriced, etc.

You won't really notice a problem with the general exclaims when they get low until you're running in the rain. Sitting water is a nightmare, sheets of water is just as scary. They're excellent in the rain when new though.

Wow, your car is exactly what I want mine to look like, but in red:biggrin:

Those wheels look great! I was thinking of getting a set in gold. By the way General Exclaim tires are terrible in the rain...TERRIBLE.

You can get Falken FK452's around the same price, it's a MUCH better tire, imo.

I LOVED my Falken Azenis RT615's but they dont make them in the 18/19 sizes... are those close to the same tire as the Azenis?

And to make sure im not hijacking this post, those wheels are siiiiiiiick!

Next time you get tires, be sure you do 275/30/19's in the back to reduce the stretched look. :)

There's a huge difference between the 615s and the FK452s. The wear rating on the FK452s is like 300 so it's a lot harder rubber than what's on the 615s.
I put some FK452s on my M5 over the OEM Continentals because I got them for practically nothing through a hook up and although it's fine for my daily driving, they were absolutely terrible on the track compared to the OEM Contis. I actually quit after 1 session and drove home to swap cars.

Not to take this further OT but Falken 452s are a great tire for DD street cars. I have had them on a number of vehicles and like the wear, performance and PRICE

Currently I'm on Toyo T1Rs which according to my butt is about the same as the RT615s I had before.
