New track: Mid-America Motorplex

I just got an e-mail about this new track under construction on the Iowa/Nebraska border and thought some folks might be interested... It's the first I had heard about it. It looks extremely flat (what do you expect in Nebraska?) but I don't think there are any other tracks within a few hundred miles....

A lot of folks in the Omaha area are excited about the prospect of having a track so close to home.

However, for those of us in Chicago, 500 miles is a long, long drive to get to a track, particularly when there are so many other tracks that are much closer than that, with nine tracks within 300 miles. 500 miles is about the same distance from Chicago as Heartland Park in Topeka, and I've never been there, either.

I think it's nice that there will be a place close by for owners in Omaha.
