the car needs to be lowered, and also the car is in a funny angle. the car does not look good with either the stock or the aftermarket wheels in those pictures. just my two cents.

I'd have to agree with most people here. Regardless of the wheels (Work or OEM), taking the picture while the car is parked facing uphill really doesn't do your car any justice. Heck, you can tell from the second pic that the vertical distance between the ground and the leading edge of the sideskirt is more than the trailing edge and the ground, making the car squat.

Just to see if it would matter, I just had to see what the car looked like lowered. Now let's see if that changes any feedback.

....and at least my wheels were made for the car, not some cheap fit all 10 hole wheel that you MAKE FIT with a spacer and a shoe horn from k-mart.

actually I really wanted RONAL BEARS, but I couldn't find them in a 18/19 setup :tongue:

Hyperblack was my first choice, and chrome was my second choice. But after I worked through the pre-requests, these are the ones I finally picked :biggrin:

here was my list
18/19 set up
no spacers
no cast wheels
correct offsets for the NSX
easy to clean (but I almost got Work Termist TM-1's)
hyperblack, chrome or dark chrome

Are they chrome or black/dark chrome? It almost looks like black chrome.

Ignore the haterade, it comes in a lot of flavors. At least you did what you wanted and you're not running the same wheels all the other NSX sheep out there. Work makes great wheels. BTW, I never got the memo about chrome being out either and ghetto is better than rice. :wink:

To each his own I supose, you would prolly think my car was boring and I'm just a "sheep" but hey you have a really nice car and if you enjoy it thats all that matters...I prefer stock cars and it seems that some others on this site do too, a previous owner made some changes to my car and they are ok but the wheels I don't really care for so now I need to find some replacements, are your stock ones for sale? ... but like I said ...To each his own..have a nice day :smile:

Prime is full of opinions - heck with 15 years of NSX production in these pages, owners are running out of things to talk about. People always chime in and say they don't like something and often times it's because they believe your car would look better if it looked like theirs (how many guys said "keep it stock" and run stock rims themselves). Proud NSX owners..whaddayagonna do, right?

I'm a fan of five spoke wheels for the NSX (funny thing is, I have five spokes on my car...go figure). I'm looking at your wheels and it looks like there is some good lip on that rear (and a little on the front). I bet those wheels look great in person and once you get the stance set (assuming you still plan to lower), I think it will look even better. So, yeah, I like those wheels for your car. Why? Because you like them, its your car and that's all that matters. :smile:

When you post pics of your mods, it is a personal thing. The side effects are your acceptable to negative and positive comments. The worst thing is getting a sugar coated responds that'll mislead you.

So lighten up man, if you like it- Great!

It's always better to be on the lighter side - life is too short to not enjoy :smile:

It's just a bit hard to take comments like that after you have:
searched for 6 months,
then waited for 3 months,
and spent $$$.
