Shawn, as one of the first ppls to sell you my car, I want to say congrats on how far you have gone. Doing what you love is awesome. If I lived out there you could hire me part time and boss me around.......I'd even bring a hot blonde to answer the phones

nope this car is sitting there collecting dust.
but I start it once a week and let it idle for 45 minutes and turn it off, just keeping the car alive till I can get to it in a week or so.
I have a Brooklands green NSX getting some work done in the shop now, the white conversion is a day away from leaving my shop, and the red rebuild is waiting on parts.
then I may have some time to start logging all the missing parts that i need to buy since they were removed from the car LOL
but I start it once a week and let it idle for 45 minutes and turn it off, just keeping the car alive till I can get to it in a week or so.

ordered the rear quarter for this build will try and start work on it this week. I wanna see this thing put back to ORIGINAL state just like when the owner had it photographed.
if the owner reads this PM me with the exact brakes and parts the car had during this photoshoot. returning it to that state will be a great selling point for the car.

Shawn, do you have any formal body shop training / schooling or are you self taught? I love reading these rebuild threads and seeing these beauties come back to life. Keep it up!

Greetings to all. I bought the car from Shawn yesterday. Shawn could not have been nicer or more informative. I look forward to him maintaining my car for years to come (but it's my understanding that these cars do not need a lot of work). Shawn will bring this car back to its original form. I test drove his other 2004 build and it drove great. Can't wait to drive my new NSX (in about 2 months) and become an active member of the forum.

Ok I did some work last night I did a walk around and wrote down every part I need to get.
then I put on all 4 rims and drove it forward and then backwards.
no brakes had to flintstone it to stop. didnt wanna hit anything.
collected all the parts I took off to prep for re-install.
I installed the front shocks. going to start ordering the last of the parts today
If I had all the parts I could have this thing off to paint tomorrow. LOL

Good on you and best of luck to Shrink. Shawn is awesome and I doubt you will find anyone more passionate or talented to put you in an NSX. Great stuff.

Parts are ordered now waiting game I will get under her tomorrow night and start the fun.

installed OEM 2005 Muffler the bent Angus muffler system is forsale LOL
installed all the original Shocks that came with the car.
cleaned all the Clay mud that was all over the car.
took off all the brackets that were used to mount the aftermarket sideskirts.. guys only go OEM never issues when you use OEM.
re-Installed all the brake lines
removed the old headlights
I am thinking I am gonna remove the adjustable rear sway bar I am sure I have a spare OEM one. anyone wanna buy this one :wink:

I have been pulling MAD hours just pumping these cars out.

yeah I am going nuts with these cars. I need help only me at night. cherry coke cans are my best friend but then when you finally get home at night you rolla round in the bed cuz you consumed 8 cans in under an hour LOL

had to pick an NSX up this morning and drop on off, then another is getting dropped off at 5pm.
seriously I can do this much and I have a 2001 prelude I just purchased for a fun car.
and my buddy wants me to fix his MDX he wrecked. uggghhhh. LOL have to find a way to get to the dealership today to order more stuff for this 2001 NSX
and thats a 20 minute drive
but I will never say I hate my hobby. LOL its almost full time now. goodbye computers Im going for the " stay off the grid " LOL
