New plates on used cars

Hi all,
How long does it usually take for permanent plates to come in on a used nsx in NJ?
Ive waited 2 weeks already and the dealer doesnt know when it will be coming in. For my wifes new bimmer, it took less then 10 days.

Im anxious cuz I want to get the nsx tinted and the temp plates are on the rear window as well as it wont pass inspection with tint on in NJ.

Also, any southern NJ NSX owners with tint? And do u get pulled over alot for tint or gotten any tickets for it? Also, how do u pass inspection? Do u peel off side tints to get the car reinspected and then retint it?

Also, NJ members, ever heard of Auto Image Security and Sound? Are they any good?
